This VFW is beautifully nestled at the foot of a small mountain with a rear porch that over looks a meandering stream, a great place especially in the Fall for outside drinks. There are numerous events held throughout the year, Turkey Shoots, Steamer Night on the weekends and periodic dinners. I think the bar is the main attraction for most folks, bottled beer $ 3.00 and drinks straight or mixed $ 3.50. It’s nice to stop by occasionally to see whats happening to watch a game inside or to have drinks on the porch and watch the world pass by.
