Great food. The owner’s treat you like a friend or family member. The restaurant is small but there is out side seating. I had the Kafka and my wife had the lamb. We shared each other’s meal. We both agreed! Excellent food! Keith in Wilmington

Looked this one up on Unilocal and it was perfect for a late lunch. Lamb kabob and kalfi kabob were both very tasty. Will visit again when in the area.

Soooo good! Stopped in here with the hubby on a rainy night an hour before they closed. Saw the great reviews on Unilocal and thought we would give it a try. We had the whole place to ourselves! The owners were very sweet and everything was so delicious! We ordered the falafel sandwich, grape leaves and tabouleh salad. We took dessert to go. I would totally recommend this cute little place for a quick meal!

The real deal. Great Lebanese food. It is a small place, but the food is so good. They make you feel welcome. The owner came out and was talking to us about the restaurant. He takes pride in his business. The food is delicious.

Awesome food; friendly owners/chef/staff and decent prices. Not a lot of seating so plan a picnic if you’d like! The lamb kebabs were the best I’ve had in New England. We’ll be returning!

We found this place on Unilocal and as usual weren’t disappointed. Everything was made to order and amazing. Started with grape leaves and hummus… The grape leaves were still hot! Amazing. On to salads with authentic dressing… Yum yum yum. Entrees, lamb, chicken(both on a kabob) and falafel… In the spirt of middle eastern hospitality, the owners are the cooks and you are in their home. Small warm and wonderful. The best I’ve ever had outside of Israel. Can’t wait to go back.

Authentic Lebanese food on Route 1 in Hampton Falls. It is as good as it gets. We have been getting Martha’s ever since they opened. Joe and Martha know every customer by name and are super friendly. The Chicken Kabob is amazing.

Wow! Unilocal was not wrong! This place and its great reviews have been on our radar for awhile, but sometimes you want full service(dining room style) and not mom-and-pop. Tonight was more of the latter. We were near the end of the night, but were welcomed warmly, first by Martha, then by Joe. They took time to explain the menu and the options within. I was hungry. For me it was grape leaves, falafel plate, steak chawarma. Wife ordered the egg plant special and a salad. Joe took our order and chatted with us, asking if we were from the area and telling us a bit about the restaurant. Food came out in about ten minutes. First was the salad, some pita bread, and the grape leaves. Oh. My. God. The grape leaves were amazing. I used some of wife’s salad dressing on the pita bread and it was delightful. Joe checked in to find very happy people. Next came the rest of the order, delivered by both Joe and Martha. The Chawarma literally blew my mind. I’m a big steak-and-cheese guy, but I don’t think I can ever again order that sandwich. This was amazing. The steak was tender and flavorful. The sauce is so flavorful that I couldn’t actually determine the ingredients, but my stomach was elated. I hate half then started on the falafel plate. Again, a festival of flavors. I was beginning to fill up, but I couldn’t stop eating. I ate two of the falafels and about half the salad, then finished the Chawarma. I took the rest home. Wife was equally blown away by her egg plant and ground beef mixture on rice. She also took half home. Super nice people, very personable and helpful. Food was delicious(without question, best Lebanese food we have ever had). We will most definitely be back! Just wanted to add: we bought dessert but didn’t eat it until the next day. Man! The baklava was AMAZING! I mean it usually is, but this was stellar by baklava standards! We WILL most definitely be back!!!

Delicious authentic and fresh Lebanese place. Small whole in the wall location but super friendly owners that provide fresh daily specials, some American offerings and great salads and babaganoush, hummus, etc. A must stop if in the area!

Wow! Wonderful find while I was traveling. If I lived nearby I’d be a regular here. Delicious, fresh, scratch-made middle eastern food. The falafel sandwich is one of the best I’ve had — highly recommend trying it. The hummus is really, really good too, and the pita bread is thin and fresh. Definitely a hidden gem.

Cannot say enough-quality of pita(we have middle eastern in laws, and this is up there with the best we’ve ever had); salad dressing is fresh(love that it’s lemon juice rather than vinegar); lamb was done perfectly, and the owners — even though it was our first time there– were so warm and friendly. Hope we can come up here again, as we live two hours south.

Food was delicious! Great stop on our way home from Maine. The restaurant is just 7 minutes from the highway. We tried six different dishes and all were great.

Delicious!!! Decided to come in here after a tasting and your at Smuttynose. We were on our way back home from visiting Portland. Walked in and felt at home with the hospitality! Got the chicken chawarma with rice, side of hummus, taboule, and my fiancé got the beef chawarma with rice. It was amazing! Is cooked when ordered so expect to wait a few minutes for your food to be hot and fresh but it’s worth it! :). Small place with only 4 tables so not good for big groups.

Great food and friendly customer service. It’s a small diner. You wouldn’t expect to find a Lebanese restaurant out here. Prices are a little high and portions are average.

Food was excellent. Their bathroom could use some updating and the picnic tables should of been wiped down.

So, they might close early unexpectedly. It isn’t fast. It isn’t cheap(it’s perfectly reasonable, but certainly not cheap). It is, however, really, really delicious. The kibbe I had was *phenomenal*. And, yeah, it is like being in a Lebanese home for dinner.

Love this place. Even though it is Lebanese it is my favorite American comfort food. Their steak shawarma and grape leaves and stuffed cabbage are awesome. Plus they are such a wonderful inviting couple that own and serve you.

You have to love the owners. They put their hearts into their food. They are native Lebanese and constantly talk about how much they LOVE America. Who doesn’t love a patriot! They make a decent falafel. But most of the food is just OK. I still prefer Pauly’s Pockets in Durham(when you’re lucky enough to have your food fresh.) The folks at Martha’s are Slowwwwww. Even when I call ahead on a slow night I still end up waiting 20 minutes for a basic Falafel. I love it when the two owners(husband & wife) bicker with each other. They are so cute together. Food is always fresh. Portions are always reasonable. Prices charged may not be the prices on the online menu. Beware!
