I have been working with Leah for close to a year. I book an appointment with Leah and the nature of my session evolves into whatever my needs are on that particular day. Thanks to Leah’s intuitive and healing abilities — I have had acupuncture, massage, bodywork, Sufi healing and more. Leah is a joy to work with, her amazing energy and positive spirt keeps me wanting to she her frequently. I highly recommend booking an appointment with Leah — you will leave her office feeling phenomenal.

I experienced similar confusion trying to book an appointment with Leah, after purchasing a Hot Stone Massage through Groupon. I placed three calls prior to her getting back to me, then she called me back as she had me penciled in at another time and date. Enroute to my appointment she called to say she was running late, which kind of was ok since I was getting ready to call her after my dental appointment was going to put me about 5 minutes late. When I walked in there was no one in the waiting area, but then I saw a blanket fly onto the floor in the doorway across the darkened hall. I called out and Leah came out and introduced herself, asking me to have a seat and she’d be righ with me. Shortly after a guy walked through and out the door, followed by a dog, who apparently stayed there with his owner during work(chiropractor?). Leah invited me in shortly to a very small room, with fabric kind of hanging haphazardly from the ceiling. The blanket, previously thrown on the floor, was now on the massage bed, although there was an ill-fitting sheet on the bottom(which I wasn’t convinced hadn’t been previously lain on!) and a non-matched top sheet. No sheet over the face cushion, but she did fold a pillowcase and lay it kind of over it. No modesty sheet…“just remove your clothes and pull the blankets up over you.” Atmosphere wasn’t really conducive to relaxing; lights not dimmed, voices coming through from the next room, same short music cd playing over & over, Leah trying to talk you into your happy place and a scented oil that might not appeal to all. The massage, itself, was ok, though at times her trying to manipulate pressure points was just too hard and not effective. The hot stones, which were heated on a portable electric radiator type room heater, were nice when used, but could be uncomfortably hot when left in one place too long… perhaps they were overheated? Leah spent probably an hour and a half on my one hour massage. In the end I have to say, Leah was very nice, but there are more than a few changes that probably could be made to offer a more professional experience. I wanted to walk out feeling totally relaxed and unfortunately that wasn’t the case.

Update: I showed up for my massage and she wasn’t there. She had me down for a half hour later at her other location and hour and a half away. She started to say it would be weeks before she could reschedule and I said I either wanted a refund or her to get me in the next day. She agree to the next day and it was a very good massage, so against my better judgment I scheduled another appointment for a week later. Well looks like she forgot my appointment again because she’s not here. Guess I will find a different place to get a massage instead of her. Sorry Leah!
