So I had a rough week and was in desperate need of a massage. I’ve had a few massages in the past and the two places I go to were booked up for the weekend. I saw this place on Groupon and decided to try here. They will honor the $ 39 groupon or will give you the $ 39 introductory price for an hour massage. Upon arrival I noticed how difficult this place is to find. It’s right off of 19⁄41 north but it’s so hidden. It’s to the left of the Waffle House, but you have to drive around to the side of the building. There were only 2 people there(the receptionist and the masseuse). The receptionist was either in high school or early college years and my masseuse was named Angie or Angela(I can’t remember which one it was). Angela did a fantastic job hitting my pressure points and asking me if I was comfortable or if I wanted her to go over any other areas. She was all in all pretty wonderful. The bed itself was not super comfortable, but comfortable enough, the room was rather small as she kept hitting the wall and the chair was rather loud and squeaky. The chair really looked like it was just a computer chair that they took the back off of. As I was leaving Angela greeted me at the door with a cup on water. I went to check out and I asked the receptionist if they took Discover Card and she said she didn’t know. Once my card was ran I wanted to get a receipt and she didn’t know how to get it for me. I asked if she could just email it to me and didn’t know how to do that and then tried two times to get it printed. It was printed with no official name or anything. I honestly don’t see this place lasting, at least not in this location. The location is TERRIBLE for business! They have a great concept and the masseuse was pretty great, but they need to do better as far as location and management go. This place would do great on highway 20 in McDonough, but not on 19⁄41 north because everyone passes right by it without seeing it. I’m interested in knowing someone else’s experience here, especially with the Groupon deal.
