Lowes appliance dept is great but don’t let them send Perez Enterprises to install your appliances. They installed my dishwasher crooked and I still haven’t been able to get them back to fix it!

I had a horrible experience here. I went to purchase a wall surround for a bathtub, lifted it off a tall shelf and loaded it into a flatbed cart. I went down an aisle, leaving the large item at the start of the aisle because it was so big. Two minutes later I returned to find my item gone. It had been reshelved. It was not busy in the store, but none of the employees asked to assist in any way. My visit started with an employee closing an aisle I was walking down and making me wait for 20 minutes to even exit the aisle. I left the store and went to Home Depot instead.

Store is clean but it took me 30 mins and 4 different people to get a question about Grout for a natural stone floor answered then the associated was rude and didn’t seem interested in helping me. Taking my business to Home Depot from now on

on a stressful day I find it very therapeutic to just take a stroll to the store especially the garden center… there is something about the garden center that just draws my attention to it… it is very pleasing to the eyes to see all types of plants and lawn care equipment lined up, properly stocked… the staff for the most part are on average on their customer service… they could really use more of their build your own or DIY workshops for adults

I’ve shopped this Lowes often, and the inventory/staff is on par with it’s local competition. It’s worth a try, if the need arises.

Not a big fan of the big box store hardware experience. There is a such thing as too much stuff, and Lowe’s and Home Depot certainly fit this description. Went into look for a piece of lawn maintenance equipment that Sears’s was out of. Manged to find it ourselves, and we were not pestered by any of the very helpful employees(we didn’t need their assistance this trip. But, as they say in the movies, you need one, you can never find any). We made our purchase with out any issues. Lowe’s even honored the Military/Vet discount(rumor has it, that Home Depot stopped this). If you want to walk down canyon’s of racks full of stuff, looking for everything under the sun, this is the place for you. Enjoy yourself. I also believe that we were subjected to the extra ½ cent tax that Hampton has put on purchases within the ‘Coliseum Central’ District. I’ll have to take a look at the receipt, but I am kinda sure this is the case. Well, why not put parking meters in here, while you are at it? Meh. @Removeyourhat
