Papa John’s Pizza

If I could choose no stars that’s what I would have done! Every time I have ordered here they have delivered my order incomplete. Today I ordered two large pizzas and breadsticks. I was told the delivery time would be in 30minutes. I waited 1 hour and 47min to receive my meal. When it was finally delivered the pizzas and breadsticks were ice cold! Horrible service! I do not suggest this location to anyone. Nothing but bad experience. I will not ever order from here again. The sad thing is my home is only a half a mile away from this location and I still received my order cold and almost two hours after I called it in. When I called to complain to the manager I was told he could not speak to me. I will never again order from Papa Johns pizza
You take a risk when you order from them, a risk I will never take again.

Of the chain pizza restaurants, Papa John’s is my favorite. I have ordered take out, as well as delivery. When I ordered takeout, I placed the order from their handy app on my phone. When I got there, some employees were standing outside putting up a window decal. They greeted and opened the door for me which I thought was nice. There was a woman handling the front area, and she was as pleasant as you would expect one of their employees to be (kinda not really). I informed her that I placed my order online, and she pulled it up without any trouble. After I paid, she inaudibly muttered something, in which I just proceeded to stand there. I have my pizza, but I’m sure she saw that I also ordered a two liter soda. I stand there a few more seconds, and ask her, «am I just supposed to get my drink myself?». She says yes, so I proceed to do so and leave. Love that awesome customer service! (has anyone else noticed that I’m a stickler for customer service?)
My second experience with this particular store was last night when I ordered delivery. I ordered a large meat lovers pizza with extra cheese, and 2 extra peppers that are included on the side. I received the pizza in a timely manner, and the delivery guy was nice. My problem was with the pizza itself. I hate hate hate hate hate (did I say hate) thin crust pizza. I like Papa John’s for its big fluffy crust that I can dip into the garlic sauce. So tell me why my pizza was deflated and overcooked? And since when does extra cheese mean less meat? I haven’t been this displeased with Papa Johns in a very very long time. I didn’t call and complain because waiting on another pizza for another 45 min to an hour was not going to go over well with my stomach. Plus, I don’t trust that some worker won’t spit or do some other unsightly thing to my pizza. Unfortunately, there aren’t any other pizza places that will deliver, or that are close to bumblefuck that is Hampton.
