I’ve been on a fair amount of brewery tours, and this was, by far, the best I’ve ever been on. The brewmaster gave the tour; he was knowledgable, easy to chat with and engaging. He answered lots of questions. The tasting was great, too. The brewery is clean and the environment is very cool. I was not a smuttynose fan before the brewery tour, but I am now.

I don’t know why this page implies that Smuttynose at THELISTEDADDRESS is a café. I can assure you, it certainly is not. It is the address of the brewery… in an industrial park… open limited hours… Unless you are a robot who eats things from a bottling line, you won’t be able to get your food fix here. Maybe do a tour while youre here, which I reviewed on the true Unilocal! review page.

It was a long time ago that my wife and I visited Smuttynose but it was one of the best brewery visits we have ever had. We were the only ones there and we sat and drank with the Head Brewer(at the time) and also did a tour. I think we spent about four hours there. Can’t go wrong with a Smutty!

This is a review on the beer only, I have not been to the brewery yet, although I plan to. This is on of my favorite local breweries in the north east. I love to just pick up their samplers. The pale ale is one of my favorites, and the IPA is amazing as well.

Two words: breakfast crepes. Arrive early and plan on eating breakfast here. It is located at the far end of the terminal, by the Southwest gates and across from Dunkin’ Donuts. Thanks to my fellow Unilocalers, I made my way over and ordered the breakfast crêpe with ham and cheese and egg. It was so savory and delicious! The service was quick and extremely friendly. Prices were reasonable considering it is an airport eatery. If you’re heading out of Manchester, plan your time accordingly and grab your breakfast here. Dee-lish!

Such a cool brewery. Nice people, got a up-close-and-personal tour of the whole facility. Also got unlimited samples of awesome Smuttynose beer. The best part? It was FREE!

I’ve been on several brewery tours, and this is definitely one of my favorites. I simply drove up to the brewery with a few friends and we were given an impromptu tour. The staff is really cool. We walked around the whole place while they were brewing and blasting heavy metal. Smuttynose makes excellent beer. Cool people and good beer: I don’t know what more you’d want from a brewery.

People say you should show up 2 hours before your flight to get through security. If you’re flying out of Manchester, you really don’t need to. However, if you do get there that early and discover it only takes you 15 minutes to get through TSA checkpoints, fear not! You now have 1 hour and 45 minutes to enjoy Milltowne Grille and Smuttynose Brewery. If you want to grab a beer to calm the nerves before your flight, you pretty much have two options. Walk a mile down the right side concourse past 10 – 15 completely empty gates to a frequently abandoned Sam Adams Brewpub. Or, bang a left and find the Milltowne Grille bar beckoning you around the corner. Let’s face it, Sam Adams is a good beer that you can find just about everywhere… a true staple feor catered parties looking for a heartier option to complement the light beers. With Smuttynose, you are trying a true craft beer brewed right in NH that offers much more diverse flavors. So do yourself a favor and choose Smuttynose… you will not a regret it. In fact, the only problem I have with this place is that the don’t have one downtown… how can that be?

The security at MHT is the most thorough I’ve ever been through, so I make sure to get to the airport early. Another reason to get to the airport early is the Smuttynose Pub. The crepes are great, full of quality, primarily locally grown ingredients, and the food is very reasonably priced. It’s not as quick as Dunkins, but much better; in fact, I’d much rather have Smuttynose crepes than any of the offerings at any of the airports to which I travel!

Milltowne Grill is great, and not just for an airport restaurant. Burgers are very good, as well as some of the lighter fare. The Smuttynose is an excellent local brew to top it all off. Strongly recommend.

Airport food is called«airport food» for a reason. The crepes at Smuttynose do not belong in an airport…(although I’m not complaining) FANTASTIC! So yummy! Absolutly beats a doughnut or a breakfast burrito or a bagel… The Crêpe maker takes absolute pride in her work, I enjoyed just watching her make it for me.

On my way out of Manchester Regional Airport on an early morning flight to the west coast, I needed breakfast. I was amazed at the high quality and reasonable cost of the food. Stuffed eggs. Fresh salads and wraps. Beer on tap! Holy crap! Once I figured out that it is owned by the same folks that own Republic on Elm Street downtown, it all made sense. Those guys know food, love their customers and are honorable business people. After spending time over the next two weeks in airports in Chicago and Oakland, I am really pleased that the best food that I found in all the terminals was right here in Manchester. Good job guys. You deserve an award.

Crepes are great. Just finished sundried tomato pesto &3 cheese crêpe. Rich & satisfying. Whole wheat crêpe has lots of flavor. Must have if you’re at MHT

Wow-locally grown organic food at Manchester airport! Amazing. they even have real crêpe pans like in France. I had the spinach feta and tomato crêpe and it was outstanding. Well done. Support this quirky place instead of Quiznos or other chains! Every time I get mad at Manchester I find a place like this that surprises me.

I am usually skeptical of airport restaurants but this one is a gem. The Smuttynose Brewing Company looks more like a place to grab a quick premade sandwich, however they also have crepes. My boyfriend and I ended up getting a chicken and cheese crêpe which tasted excellent. So excellent, that it rivaled some of the crêpe places back home that I’ve been to. And the prices are very reasonable. I wish they had more options like this place at other airports.
