Delicious fresh sandwiches! We bought a couple sandwiches and went to a nearby winery for a nice lunch. It was a nice day trip. We also purchased jam and fresh warm bread, these were also divine! We will be back! Great prices on everything also! This is a hidden gem.

A visit to a quieter time. I’ve been to Shiloh General Store serveral times and to be candid, thought I had already written a review. Apparently I have not so here is one. Several of us went for a drive in the NC foothills to take in the beautiful fall folliage. One of the places we stopped was the Shiloh General Store southh of Hamptonville. This is a working Amish community and while a lot smaller than the community in Holmes County Ohio I used to visit, it brought back fond memories. It’s a small store but every inch is packed with Amish food items. You see cheeses and meats from Troyer which is from Millersburg, Ohio. along with other products from Willow Creek, Sugar Creek, Berlin and other Ohio small towns. If you’ve never had Amish Butter, you have not had butter. When I lived in Ohio, this was a part of our daily meals. They also have a broad range of Jams and Jellies, Relishes, Fruit Butters etc. The deli has a great selection of meats for sale. They also sell sandwiches made on site that are excellent but unfortunately they only use a small number of the meats available. Bread is also baked fresh on site and it is delicious and still warm when you buy it. Staff is courteous and friendly and display the hospitality the Amish are noted for. A great place to spend some time and unwind.

I wanted to like this place but the shelves were almost exclusively stocked with goods that were far from local. The cheese curds were thoroughly disappointing and the pastry was forgettable. It is too far off the 77 to make it worth a special trip.

Absolutely wonderful! Great atmosphere, Sweet people, and a huge assortment of dried goods and(homemade) canned goods. Nice fresh bread and a great little deli… homemade desserts too! Worth stopping! We’ll be back!

My husband is originally from Hamptonville and I always insist on a trip to Shiloh’s when we are in the area. The deli foods are great and free coffee is unheard of, but nothing in this world rivals an Amish DOUGHNUT! A must-stop spot in the beautiful Yadkin Valley.

Great place to visit and have lunch. I love the bread! Not open daily though. Hours are 9 – 5 Tuesday-Friday. And 9 – 4 on Saturday.

Great place! We went to the Laurel Winery down the street and they told us to come here for their Saturday only donuts. It was amazing! The cheeses and the other spreads they had were great. I’m only taking one point away b/c they had a dog roaming around. Not a fan of dogs with food around.

5 stars for the buttered coconut pie! We have bought this twice and both times it was perfect. Great sandwiches from their deli also made on homemade bread.

Fantastic! One of the best Salamis I have ever tasted! Muscadine Juice — I purchased the Green and Purple, both were very good! They have a Deli in the back of the store. All staff were friendly and courteous! Picnic tables outside if you want to eat here! Take Exit 267 from Hwy. 421 go South about 3.7 miles turn left at the White Church — Saint Paul Church Road — Once you turn you will see it on the left.
