They won’t dazzle you with fancy décor. They won’t serve you in tuxedos or discuss mixology. They won’t even wow you with the food. However, when it comes to customer service, Post 10 treats you like family and that’s why I keep coming back. They took my children’s food allergies very seriously and allowed my wife and I the opportunity to read the food labels. Additionally, the prepared my kids food in a separate pan. All of this was done without request and upon their insistence. For this I cannot thank them enough. The food is pretty decent and we come for the fish fry. My fish has always been fried the way I like it-just slightly greasy but not dripping in it. We also liked the cupcakes for dessert. Post 10 keeps it simple and real. Also, you can’t beat the beer prices here either. Possibly the lowest price in town. Sometimes less is more and Post 10 proves it.

Was it the Elvis Impersonator pics behind the«DJ»? Was it the Pope Mug I saw filled with Pabst? The Better Maid Chips hanging off the bar mirror? The sign«Farm Fresh Eggs – Lately Laid»? Well, that WAS the keeper. Actually, we stumbled across this place during the Hamtramck Labor Day Fest. Looking for a little shade and a cool beer, this place hit the spot. The waitstaff was like your oldest aunt – making sure you always had what you needed, and asking over 5 – 6 times how the food was. When you go here, lie about how good the food is, because the atmosphere is worth it, and the people are really nice. We were asked to pay immediately upon order, and my companion got a huge plate of stuffed cabbage, city chicken, and pierogi… all for $ 7! On top of that, we got our post mugs available for refill(which we gladly refilled with PBR once we hit the street a little while longer). I sat wishing there was a karaōke contest, or a bingo game coming up. The only thing missing was constant polka. I only got to hear one while I was there. The rest was Sinatra.
