Rite Aid

Well dudes, I tend to avoid this place. The store layout is really strange and they’ve apparently had several issues with theft as the batteries are all on lock down (even then, some packages have been ripped open) and coffee canisters lack lids. Not to say that the place is a dump; it’s always seemed pretty clean and well-​stocked. However, the thing that really irritates me is that EVERY TIME I’m waiting in line, the cashiers seem to be jawing away about some b.s., and carrying on this prattle is more important than helping paying customers! What is up with that? And it’s not like some short little banter, either — it’s a long, drawn-​out, yappy conversation that can go on a full 5 minutes before either one of them bothers making eye contact and pleasantly asking if they may help you, at which point they will happily discuss your purchases, ask you questions about them, and try to engage YOU in discourse. I’ve seen people walk out of this place on more than one occasion, annoyed by the wait. Terrible customer service.
