This is an awesome old style country market and fruit stand that is directly accessible from the Western Maryland Rail Trail. Thirsty from biking, we recently bought some tree ripe jumbo peaches here that, when eaten, dripped down our chins. Seriously good stuff. Hepburn’s also has great home-​baked cookies and moon pies, country ham sandwiches, small packaged snacks like chocolate pretzels and spiced nuts, and walls of locally made jams, preserves and condiments. What’s perhaps best about it is the friendly helpfulness of the staff here. They made us feel very welcome despite our silly bicycling outfits.
