Way over priced and they managed to mess up my wife’s eye brows, who didn’t require shaping!

These girls know what they are doing I have thick and long brows and they were over plucked. Thanks to my benefit brow associate their getting back into shape! I was recommended by a co worker Emily. I’m use to breaking out after a wax or even a thredding so I wasn’t surprised when it happened after. However I’m not to thrilled that they offer makeup to cover up the redness after they are done that can cause breakouts! Other than that they knew where my eyebrow should start and end and where the arch should be very knowledgeable.

I have been coming here for 3 months now and I love it. I have shopped at Ulta many times and never really paid attention to the Brow Bar. I had been in shopping for various items when I noticed a customer getting her eyebrows done. I am a people watcher/lurker(lol) and I kind of milled around so that I could watch the process and see the results, I am so glad that I did. As soon as the lady got done, I could not believe the transformation. The lady did not just get her brows waxed, but she got them colored in as well and they looked beautiful. I thought, what the hell, and inquired about getting mine done. I didn’t even know how much it was going to cost me initially, although they do have their prices posted, I was just so excited for mine to look as good as the last lady. The girl that was working said that they do walk-ins if they are available, but an appointment would be preferred. She immediately went to work, after listening to what I wanted. She carefully made an outline w/some brow gel and explained where my arch etc should be. She even took a mirror and showed me exactly what she was doing. The was stung at first, because until this appointment I had been plucking. There was a little bit of redness, but the technician applied some concealer to counter that. She then cleaned any remaining wax and then again made an outline w/the brow gel to fill them in w/color. During this time, she again showed me how to do it myself. At the end of my session I was left w/some pretty brows, in my opinion. I have always struggled w/thin brows ever since high school when the pencil thin brows were in style(what was I thinking). I had been using an Anastasia eyebrow palette up until this point. She showed me, and recommended, the product she had just used. It was Brow-Zings by Benefit in Dark. The little compact comes w/a tinted gel/mousse and brow powder, an angled brush, a filler brush as well as tweezers. It is a little pricey, at $ 30 but worth it. My technician is Christina, and I really recommend her. She is very sweet and she knows what she is doing. My brows have never looked better. Anytime I have redness afterwards or shine she asks if I would like her to fix it, which I appreciate. I usually schedule my appointments every 3−4wks and she never pressures you to get them done. In fact, at my last apt I had said that I could come back in 3wks and she said we could even do 4. I appreciate that there is no pressure, cause lets be real sometimes sales people can be pushy. If you are having problems w/your brows then you should def check this place out. I cant speak to the other brow techs, but Christina is awesome
