Best Buy Market IGA

This was our go to store while staying with my aunt and Grandma. It reminded me of the older grocery stores that we would shop at. It was clean and reasonably priced compared to Hawaii prices. It was super convenient due to the location.

I’m not a fan of large box stores. However, the employees are extremely friendly, and courteous. This is the go-​to store, much better than Save Mart on numerous levels. Selection is limited on certain items, cost is a bit higher but understandable since their customer base is smaller.

I rarely release a not so good review for an establishment unless it truly needs the criticism good or bad. But I want to share that this could not have been the company’s fault as to what happened with my bank card after coming to this store, which somehow got flagged for making HIGH purchases in Poland later that evening.
After moving to the area Best Buy Market is clearly the closest market to me and I once came in here four times in 10 months. After my initial purchase I now only use cash when shopping for groceries at Best Buy Market.
Pros:

— Great selections of meats and veggies
— Fair pricing… which is great!
Cons:
— Needs better organization
— Needs more cleaning done (professionally)
— Horrible parking lot, even behind on the side of the building needs work.
— Renovations are a MUST!
Again this is just my experience so as you compare to others grocery stores look at it as it is. This is a place where we buy our food to bring back to our homes to consume. All grocery outlets should be sparkling clean as well as organized to which I don’t have to spend 9 min. looking for the eggs. I still don’t understand the non-​conveyer belt method. Holding my products (5 – 6 items) while in line waiting is unacceptable. I don’t want to place my food that is in a basket on the dirty floor.

Pricey with sometimes ok deals. Customer service is nice. Never too long a line. I just hate not knowing where to put my basket at checkout!

Kind of depressing from the outside. Pretty standard grocery store on the inside. They’ve got your usual food and household products. My experience with the service hasn’t been anything special, just a handful of teenagers shuffling around not offering to help unless asked. But again, that could just be my experience.

Probably my favorite grocery store in town because they are local & they sell Harris Ranch meat, including some deliciously cut pork ribs. There isnt a whole lot of variety here for certain things, like say, produce. But the customer service here is unparalleled, and yes, i realize I am talking about a grocery store.
Oh, and did i mention they sell kegs & half kegs, whatever they’re called? Because they do.

I love this store because it’s very welcoming and the staff are so courteous. If I need a special item they will order it for me. It’s got a very small town everybody knows everybody feel to it.

I just love this place!
It’s on my way home, they have almost everything I could ever need, and they *generally* have really nice, fresh produce.
The guys in the meat dept are super helpful, the produce guys have the neatest dept ever. seriously…stop by and check it out sometime (it’s all stacked and they even weave the corn and carrots in a back-​and-​forth pattern), and the checkout in front is NEVER a long wait like SaveMart (three’s a crowd… my ass!)
The prices are the only reason they don’t get 5 stars. They have really good sales, but the regular prices on *some* items are just ridiculous!
Your basics like milk, eggs, bread, cheese, meats and produce are all excellent, by dry goods are high. The bulk of my fresh foods come from here, but I generally go elsewhere for the rest.
