I have only eaten here one other time before today since they moved into this new location. I didn’t have a good experience the first time, but decided to give it a try again today and had high hopes. It started off by the hostess telling us it would be a 7 – 10 minute wait for a table despite no one else waiting and plenty of open tables. After waiting she proceeded to seat us at a large booth that could easily sit 6+ people, even though there were smaller booths and tables available. The staff all seems to be in no rush and it took a while to get our drink order and food order. Someone else brought out our food and while the pancakes were hot, the bacon and eggs and hash towns were not. We just ate what we wanted and went up to the hostess station to pay. There was no one there. I waited for quite a while and finally the hostess comes back with a stack of receipts in her hand and says she will be right with me. I waited and waited and waited some more while she did something on the computer with the receipts. finally I asked if there was someone else who she could call to help me and she said she would be right with me. I waited a little longer and finally asked if there was a manager available and was told she was on break and could not be bothered!!! Finally she decided she would help me, but acted as if I put her out to ring me out. Needless to say this is my last visit to this location! There are too many other places that actually have employees that want to provide good service!

Been here a few times and I have to say that the late night crew is the friendliest. After walking in we were seated fairly quickly and after ordering, we had our food in under 10 minutes. Jessy, Celia, and Breann were great and stayed on top of things, keeping our drinks topped off and making sure we were okay. I definitely be back during the late shift.

My sounds pancakes were burned and my fit slam looked horrible. Sad to say that the service is going downhill. It’s not the servers it’s the kitchen. I think it’s time for the management to spark a fire and retrain the back of the house or hire be staff that wants to be there. Pride in ones job shows in their products. It’s obvious they have no pride in their craft. It may m just be Denny’s but if they have no pride in what they do here they will. Have no pride in a five star high end restaurant.

I ate breakfast here on Friday and it literally felt like it was lasting forever. It took us over an hour to receive our food after we had ordered, not exaggerating. There wasn’t even an apology. People who were seated and ordered after us had already received their food and were almost done when before we received ours. I won’t be returning to this location.

DONOT spend your hard earned money in this establishment. I’m soooo disappointed with my Hanford Ca on 12th Ave across from the AM/PM.I walked in at 0258. the server ask was it for here or to go. I reply”, TO-GO.”(The caps makes sense when you see this time limit).a couple walks in behind me and she ask them to wait a few mins. We all waited there about 15 with an unpacked crowd of about 13 people, who were already served. The server finally comes back after myself and the couple were comversating about how much longer we had to wait to place an order or be seated. These Officers show up walk in she escorts them to the corner, takes their order and makes their drinks as if we were not even there before them. LONGSTORYSHORT it took 1 hour and 17 mins total for a «TO-GO».THESERVER was rude and petty. If only she had put as much effort into her customer service to bystanding customers as she did with the officers or people she had known, I would be more understanding but she did not.

I honestly have no idea what has happened to this place. I’m not a Denny’s enthusiast by any means. I have only eaten here once. But we really impressed with the service and food. So tonight we opted to try it again. We walked in and it didn’t look too crowded. So I figured we would get a seat pretty quick. There were people in front of us payn and waiting I guess. So we sat down to wait. I figured I’d give it a chance. They had one lady working the register and the assumed manager Raymond looked busy on the phone. Pretty much looked like he didn’t wanna be there. The lady at the register left and never returned. So I said screw this and left and made a beeline for Black Bear. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. I mean it is a Denny’s. But this is a new one and when we ate here before it was so well ran. I don’t know what happened to the last manager they had. But they need to bring him back. Needless to say I won’t be back. This place blows. Save ur money and go to Ryan’s or Black Bear.

This place is the worst. The host says me I say I’m ready to order. She takes my order and walks away. Five minutes later I look up to see the host standing talking to the cooks and I have no drinks in front of me. I ask to speak with the manager and they send order a shift sup. When my food comes the order was 2eggs order of pancakes and well done hashbrows. And the hash browns were not done well. They remade them, while they do that I eat my pancakes with the bottle of cold syrup. By the time they bring me my hash browns my eggs are cold so they had to remake them. And to top it off I looked up and saw the host grab another female servers butts. That really pissed me off because it that was two guys the guy would have been fired. DONOTEATHERE.

I called to place an order to go they told me to please hold. I said no problem they put me on hold for 6 minuets then hung up on me. I called back and they tried to put me back on hold again and I told them that I was already on hold and was hung up on after 6 minuets of hold. The girl just told me she is sorry she’s the only one there and really busy and I need hold. So I asked for a manager and got one right away. Why if a manager is there and able to answer right away is she not staffing or helping the front desk ?? I don’t know. So I explained to her the same issue and all she did was make the same excuse, they are really busy and have a full front. I said ok still waiting for her to take my order she did nothing. So I asked her you guys really don’t want my business huh? No reply so I hung up and ordered at Applebee’s better quality and service anyways. I won’t be going back. I see from the 3 stars management is running something wrong looks like staffing that again management is in charge of. Maybe it’s time for a new manager who knows weekends«Sunday’s especially» are busy and this manager should schedule accordingly.

Worst service, and each time I’ve tried to use my rewards cards, that they encouraged me to spend 20 minutes online registering, they won’t bother because they have said oh sorry, we already rung you up! 2 times and no one will go the extra mile! Now it’s expired! Whatever Denny’s of Hanford! Very disappointed in the service offered here not to mention the rude waitress and the the waiter who thinks it’s hilarious to joke with you to the point of wanting to leave!

This is the 3rd and final time we will be eating at this restraunt. 1st visit shortly after opening, disorganized, but dismissed cause they had only been open 6 days. Visit 2 had poor service, but food was good. 2 days ago my husband & I had last visit to restraunt. Terrible!!! Poor service, terrible waitress, and food sucked! No drinks for 15 mins, ordered salad and she brought at end of the meal, then giggled. Oh well… Done!

Ever since Denny’s opened in it’s new location it has been wonderful! We went to the old one on the corner of 12th and Lacey once when we first moved here in 2007 and never went back. We gave the new one a try right after opening and we were very impressed. The service is always great and the food is always very good. They have really improved the quality of their food. My family and I come here at least once a week and have never been disappointed.

Called in an order and as I get home I see that they gave me burnt toast, food had no flavor, food was over fried and was very dry. Really not happy with the food there any more and will not be returning to this Denny’s any more and its sad because I love the food from there. Another thing the lady who took my order was very rude and talking to someone while trying to take my order.

I have been here one other time, but didn’t write a review. My problem here is the service. We were seated immediately, but then it took forever to have our order taken. When our waitress arrived, we did not see her again until she brought our food, and then was gone until it was time to get the check. We wanted a drink refill, but that didn’t happen. They really need to improve on service, as I was treated the same way on my last visit. They get 4 stars though cause the place is really clean, even the restrooms. The food was super good tonight. I had the Peanut Butter Cup pancakes, and they did not disappoint!!!(see pic) Check your mail for coupons. They have 3 to choose from… one is 20% off your entire order, another is $ 5 off or you can choose to buy one entrée and 2 drinks and get another entrée for .99. Great deal!!! They moved to this location and it is conveniently located off of the 198.

I dont have any complaints! We just went this am & had great service from hostess, waitress, manager, & cashier. Ordered & got our food fast… everyone was happy. Not busy around 830a on a sat. But started filling up by 9a. Will b back!

First trip into the new location and was a disappointment. The service was not to bad considering the fact that they were understaffed which the manager informed the table behind us. My problem was that my order was incorrect and also they didn’t bring my toast as well as my wife’s order was incorrect. We never had a server check on us until we were finished and server brought our check. Once informed she didn’t ask what could be done to rectify problem. At least comp a coffee or something considering they saved money by not serving my toast. I will give another try to see if it was a isolated incident or if that is the new service/quality standard.
