Not bad not bad. Mac n cheese wasn’t bad, the tri-tip was good and the special sauce was good. Definitely one of the better places to eat in town. The service is great too, they’re super friendly!

I eat here probably 3 times a month. Great service and great food everytime. I always get either pulled pork or brisket.

Stopped in here earlier this week while visiting the Kings County government center for work. It’s a nice little BBQ joint with street parking right out front. The atmosphere is casual, you order your food at the front counter and then seat yourself and get your own drink. I had the special which was a pulled pork lunch special with fries and drink. The sandwich was great, pork was tender & juicy. It didn’t come with enough BBQ sauce but they have plenty out on the tables. If you’re getting take-out make sure to ask for extra sauce. The fries are waffle fries, which are the best! And this special is only $ 8, I highly recommend it!

I haven’t even had the food yet and I love this place! Great hometown atmosphere and the tunes! Oh this place has a special place in my heart now! They are so welcoming and genuine. It’s a true staple to BBQ. COMINGBACKANDSOSHOULDYOU! Update: The wife and I had the food«brisket and tri tip sandwich» two sides«Mac N Cheese and beans» also curly fries… My verdict. This place is BBQ! Wow this was the best bbq you’ll find in the central valley. Meat was moist and melt in your mouth and the pairing of the sides made it so much better! That«Pig Slap» sauce and Spicy mixed together is Heaven. This is the new spot to get BBQ and should be the only spot to get it.

Decent BBQ at a decent price. We ordered ever meat they had as an option. All of the meat selection was good. It’s not the best BBQ I’ve ever had. But it’s a treat for a small town like Hanford. If I’m in the neighborhood again, I’ll stop again.

So I decided to take my daughters to get Ice Cream in Hanford, but needed to eat lunch before we indulged at Superior. Driving from Fresno, we passed by several delicious restaurants(Sal’s and Black Bear) but my wife insisted that we ate here. I’m always up for new restaurants, so why not.
Upon arriving we were immediately greeted by the owner and he showed us his menu on the counter. I ordered the $ 7.99 burger combo., Tri tip Sandwich for mom and kiddos and pulled pork for the wife. The price wasn’t too bad but was shocked that his POS system asked for tip before sitting down or witnessing service? Weird?
He advised us it was going to be 15 minutes for the food because the hamburger was freshly made? Considering it was 3 o’clock and not a soul in the joint I expected a faster service, but it’s my day off and enjoying the afternoon with family. About ten minutes into our wait the owner returned to inform us he’s closing for the day due to his granddaughter having a fever? He said we didn’t have to leave but was going to turn off the radio and TV’s? Seating in absolute silence we felt unwelcome and simply wanted to eat and bounce. How can you be rated 4 ½ Stars and not enough staff to cover your restaurant?
We finally got our food and it was nothing the pictures and reviews hyped it up to be. My burger and fries super were sad :(Patty and fries were not fresh and tasted like freezer quality. Single piece of lettuce, no mayo, no onions, no flavor… oh and mustard was in packet forms by the fountain drinks(lame)
My wife’s pulled pork looked okay but was extremely dry! She had to literally drown it in Spit sauce and BBQ. The tri tip was also dry and flavorless. My daughter love tri tip and did The servers were nice and smiled the entire duration of our visit. The food wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had, but I wouldn’t return if I was in the neighborhood. I’ll stick to Dog House Grill. Restaurant was clean but no public restrooms.

Came to their new location for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in the door… it was very aesthetically pleasing on the inside. If you are going off of looks only and you see this place from the street, you may keep driving. Inside is set up nice, but it is a small space. There are 5 or so tables, a counter to order and the drink station… that’s it. It is worth noting that there are no restrooms for customers, so plan on holding it if you have to go. We ordered the Tri-tip sandwich, Pulled pork sandwich and fries. I had seen some pictures on their Unilocal page and the food looked really good. I was very disappointed when our meal came. One look at the Tri-tip and it didn’t look pretty. It was thin sliced and looked like it was boiled or had been reheated. I tried to be a good sport about it and try to eat it anyways cause it could have tasted great… but sadly it didn’t. Like I said earlier, from the looks of it, it had been boiled and just had an ‘off’ taste. I tried putting a ton of BBQ sauce, which I didn’t care for either, to no avail. I then moved on to the Pulled Pork Sandwich and it had better flavor but was extremely dry. There was a lot of meat, but what good is that if its too dry to eat. Added some BBQ sauce and managed to get a few bites down. The fries and ranch were the saving grace of this meal. And a quick side note, they do not filter their water for their soft drinks… that means you get the aromatic whiff of sulfur every time you take a drink. The service here is 5 stars alone!!! I gotta give it to them for that. The owner was the one that took our order and he couldn’t have been any more friendly. There was also another gentleman that was working here(not sure if he was the cook, dishwasher etc) but he was super nice as well. Our visit here was made very enjoyable based on our encounter with them alone. I might consider coming back here… perhaps when its earlier in the day when stuff might be more fresh. I am thinking about trying the ribs next time and hope that I have better luck ;) The price for 1 tri tip sandwich, 1 pulled pork sandwich, 1 order of fries and 2 soft drinks was a little over $ 21 and change #flagproof
