Jet’s Palace

This place is a gem. It is located right off H61 for those of us traveling. Stopped because of other high ratings and it didn’t disappoint. My husband and I had General Tao and Orange chicken lunch plates. Excellent rice and crab Rangoon as well as sweet and sour soup. Server was delightful and service was quick.

The service at Jet’s was so friendly! The place is clean and comfortable on the inside which is what we needed on a cold night. The soup was fantastic and our meal even better. Centrally located if you’re just passing through!

Read up on reviews of restaurants in the area because we wanted a quick but tasty lunch spot while on the road. Saw the reviews and decided to give it a try since it wasn’t too far off our path. Outside wasn’t anything special but we were pleasantly greeted once we got inside. Seemed clean and the wait staff were helpful. Got the crab Rangoon as an appetizer which was nice. Got the chicken and broccoli lunch special and it came with a cup of soup, egg drop, and an egg roll too. All was delicious and really fresh. One of the best egg rolls I’ve ever had! What a little gem! Will definitely be planning on stopping by here again if we are in the area.

Walnut Shrimp is amazing! Great service. Nice atmosphete. Stop in, you will be glad you did.

An excellent place to eat. The people are friendly, service is great, and the food is excellent. We eat here regularly and will continue to do so.

Nice place, quick service, good food. The atmosphere is very casual, and the sweet was very polite and prompt. The fried rice was delicious and we didn’t have to wait but just a few minute for our food. That however did not impact the quality, no preheated slop here, the food still came out nice and bout, and fresh. Very much worth the stop and easy access off of hwy 27.

Fantastic food. Everything we have eaten has been exceptional. Best Chinese we have eaten in awhile. Very nuanced flavors but yet the dishes taste like what would be expected… Just better.

I used to live in San Francisco, and I’ve eaten lots of Chinese food. This place uses fresh ingredients and the food is really good. We were in Hannibal on vacation and found this place on Unilocal.The service is very good, prices are decent, strongly recommend.

Excellent food and service. Potstickers (fried) and egg rolls were awesome. The hot tea was great and the generals chicken /​garlick chicken entrees were great as well. I might consider splitting the meal next time as the portions are pretty large.

This is what I love about Unilocal.I never would have stopped at this place if it weren’t for all the rave reviews. it doesn’t look like much from the outside and Jet’s Palace doesn’t exactly sound like a world class restaurant name. Thanks to Unilocal we did stop and had a great lunch here today. This lady can cook! Everything was fresh and loaded with flavor. We’ll eat here every chance we get from now on!

I am never disappointed here. Restaurant is clean, bathrooms are clean, the service is excellent and the food is fantastic. We are always in and out in less than an hour. The hot and sour soup is delicious as well as garlic chicken. They adjust the spiciness to perfection upon request. I can always count on Jets Palace for a pleasant dining experience. Well done!

Great food! They were open on the 24^th of Dec. We got there, ordered Mongolian beef and chicken kung pao. The food was delicious and for reasonable price!

This is easily the best Chinese restaurant in the area. There are plenty of filling, sub-​$ 10 meals on the lunch menu and the dinner menu is similarly reasonable. Price-​to-​quality, this is one of the best restaurants around. I recommend the hot & sour soup and Kung Pao chicken, if you like spicy foods. I’ve also had good experience with the service.

Great tasting food and appropriately sized portion for the price. If Jet’s Palace was in a larger city with multiple Chinese restaurants, I would still go back to this place on a regular basis. It does look rundown on the outside, but the inside is nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. I walked in to order carry out and it was ready in 10 min. Mongolian beef, shrimp with mixed vegetables, and chicken chow mein for $ 29. All dishes come with either steamed or fried rice.

Update:
Jet’s just finished a complete interior and exterior overhaul. It’s now the cleanest (spic and span) restaurant in the area. Bright, open interior and fresh new bathrooms. Same fabulous food and service. —end update.
This place looks a bit icky on the outside so we’ve never considered eating here, but when I read the other reviews, I felt we should give it a try. The interior is very clean and appealing. New, clean carpet. Clean comfortable booth seating as well as chairs. No stains anywhere like I often see at Chinese restaurants. AND NO FUNKY SMELL! I hate that yucky burned oil., trash, stanky shrimp smell that you often get at small chinese restaurants. The kids will love the three big beautiful aquariums at the front also. There is a tiny bit of language barrier, but not bad and you quickly develop an «ear» and do ok.
The food was great! I got the lunch special ($ 6.95) szechuan beef and my husband got the lunch special kung pao chicken. His eggroll was more like a spring roll, but tasty and FRESH. Both were appropriately spicy, but not knock your socks off and beg for mommy hot. I had a head cold. So it was perfect to open up those sinuses and I could breathe by the time we left. Lunch specials are good 7 days a week too.
Bathroom is small but clean and tidy. Had soap, lots of towels on the dispenser and trash was not overflowing even though its a tiny one, so they must maintain it often.
Parking can be tricky. Maybe we’ll park across the street at Farm and Home next time.
Service was SUPER fast and friendly but unobtrusive.
We will definitely be making this a regular for our routine. Just wish we hadn’t passed it by for so long.

It looks like an old Pizza Hut on the outside but inside it’s warm, clean and relaxing. The sizzling rice soup is as good as I’ve even had and the egg foo young, which at most Chinese restaurants is greasy, was fresh, light and covered in crisp vegetables and a unique sauce. We also had the teriyaki chicken sticks as an appetizer. The staff was attentive and friendly. I can’t wait to come back and try their other dishes. This is THE place for Chinese in the area.

I thought I’d continue the 5 star streak. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the service was polite and prompt.

This place ia the best in the area. Had a selection. Crab Rangoon isn’t too sweet. Egg rolls, perfect. Orange chicken l, szehuan chicken. Perfect. As far as Hannibal is concerned I think they already know thay have a fine little Chinese place to get great food at.

If you are looking for excellent Chinese dining in Hannibal then this is the place to go. I have eaten at numerous Oriental restaurants across the country and the quality was as good, if not better, than most I’ve had. I had the Hunan Chicken and found it very flavorful without that generic taste you often get at Oriental restaurants.
As for the service, we started off with a new waitress who was unfamiliar with the dishes and had difficulty answering our questions. But soon after she had the owner come over and he was very helpful. He even offered to substitute or add vegetables of our choosing to our dishes in order to make them into what we were looking for. I was hoping for some baby corns with my Hunan Chicken and he graciously added them to my dish without any additional cost.
Costwise the prices were reasonable. They were not cheap nor expensive, but moderate. I will definitely be returning to Jets in the near future and I strongly encourage others to patronize this place.
