This was a nice cruise on the Mississippi River. I did the dinner cruise which came with a nice buffet dinner and music. The food was fantastic. The views of the Mississippi were gorgeous and I had a nice relaxing time meeting new people.

I was excited to take my first riverboat cruise in honor of my significant other’s grandmother becoming an octogenarian. We bought tickets for 30 ppl well in advance of the show date. When we arrived to board the boat an hour early, we were greeted with a line of over 100 people. We learned while waiting in the cold for over an hour the boat released an additional 60 tickets the day of the cruise. Instead of honoring the tickets sold prior to show date, all tickets were first come first served basis as far as seating. Luckily, the 80+ couple, one of whom uses a walker, was able to get a table on the ground level. The rest of us luckily got a couple of tables on the upper deck. We had already eaten dinner, but had we not, we would have been served pulled pork by the employee who just smoked a cigarette and drank a Bud light before going back to serving without visiting a sink to wash her hands. The boat was dingy and dusty. Boarding and un-boarding was a miserably long process as you are funneled through the gift shop both ways. We were forced to have our photo taken on the way in for«security reasons,» even though some in our group expressed dissatisfaction with having their photo taken. Then offered to purchase our unwanted photo for $ 10 on the way out. I will not be signing up for a second excursion on the Mississippi aboard mark twain riverboat anytime soon.

$ 40 for a wonderful buffet dinner, a cruise on the Mississippi river, nice jazz band and a great two hour experience. My wife and I loved it and will be back. Only negatives would be the chicken(dry) and the brownie bite after dinner(think mini hockey puck) other than that — enjoy!

I enjoyed the dinner cruise so much. The River was gorgeous, music & ambience perfect, service friendly, and it lasted just the right length of time. Food was good & plentiful. Julie made sure I had vegetarian selections & never ran out of iced tea. That impressed me the most! I’m going to go back in the fall & do it again, I’m sure the foliage will be awesome then.

A must do when in Hannibal. A nice relaxing one hour cruise on the Mississippi River. The captain gives a good history of the area as well as some stories about Mark Twain. There are three different levels that you can sit on. I would recommend the top deck if it is not too hot/cold or raining. I thought the price was reasonable for the length of the cruise. The kids also enjoyed the small gift area.

I absolutely loved the riverboat tour. The staff and captain were all very friendly and the captain gave a great narrative while we were enjoying our little cruise. It was well worth the price.

The Mark Twain Riverboat started from May 1st to Oct. It is really nice to take Mark Twain Riverboat on early May. Lovely stories from captain with beautiful view made the trip meaningful.

The hour-long sightseeing tour was a lot of fun! You don’t go far but it’s nice to be on the river and hear some of the local stories. The kids enjoyed it and so did we.

We thought a tour of the Mighty Miss would be fun and since it was a beautiful day, we went for it. The Mark Twain was a smooth and comfortable ride… the scenery was great, but the best part was Captain Steve and his stories. Dont miss the one about Lovers Leap and the two starcrossed lovers. The price was very reasonable… much less than I expected, and they take a picture of you before you get on the boat(as does many attractions and exhibits around the country). You can purchase them after the ride. If you want to slow down and relax for a while… take the river boat ride. Youll learn something and enjoy yourself too.

My wife and I met a childhood friend of hers a while back in Hannibal. I thought that the river tour would be fun, and it was. My wife, who’s from Colorado, had no idea what to expect. Neither of the other two ladies had been on a riverboat before, whereas I had, considering I grew up on the Mississippi River. We did a Sunday afternoon cruise, and it was really awesome. At first, we started inside where the air conditioning was(it was probably 95 and about that much humidity). After a while, we went up on the top deck for a while, until we all had enough sun and heat. I don’t remember the exact cost, but whatever it was, it was worth every penny of it. My wife also thought it was funny how every business downtown shut its doors at 5PM on Sunday. Truly small-town America!

Did the dinner cruise while visiting in Hannibal. For about $ 40 a person, we had music entertainment, pretty good view, and a GREAT view of the river for 2 hours. The food was pretty good. Nothing to write home about: chicken, roast beef, green beans, pasta salad, salad, bread, brownie. The entertainment consisted of a piano and guitar player. Not bad. The best part of the tour was the view of the river, for sure. Going to the open top part of the boat was amazing and very peaceful. The service was friendly, but $ 82 for two people was a little pricey, in my opinion.

Fun way to see the Mississippi. My son had never been on a boat, and it was hard for him to sit down. Luckily, he didn’t have to sit that much, just a nice tour of the river near Hannibal, the director points out points of interest. Not cheap, but a nice way to spend time.
