Convenient Food Mart

Convenient Food Mart is a small convenience store located right on the corner of Lake Street and Walnut in Hanover Park. The name of this place is quite misleading, for one thing it’s not very convenient. The parking lot is a disaster and it’s difficult to park or pull out of your parking space due to some sloppy spacing.
While the title says «Food Mart» it’s really more of a liquor and tobacco mart with very little actual food for sale. I stopped in, looked around and noticed that a good portion of the shelving was just almost completely empty with desolate aisles taking up much of the floor space. I was able to track down a bottle of water which is the reason I stopped there in the first place, bought it and was on my way.
Overall if you’re looking for liquor, tobacco or dust (which is found in abundance on the many of the otherwise empty shelves) then this might be be the place for you. I didn’t find it to be very convenient, but perhaps your experience will differ. Two stars for this place as in all fairness I was able to find what I wanted and pull in and out of the lot without an automobile accident.
