Poplar Creek Public Library Dist

Not a bad library! I am used to being spoiled by the likes of Schaumburg Public Library, however.
BUT that being said, I remember this library when it was not so much. The remodel definitely did it some good! It is updated and it’s very easy to find everything!
And the cool part is, being a part of Streamwood, I can still check out books at the Schaumburg Library, but I can’t put anything on hold there. Just at the Poplar Creek Library. That part kind of bums me out.
But the kid’s section is wonderful! And it’s off in the distance as to not disturb any of the other patrons. It’s off tucked in a corner by itself. Very nice!

Remodeled a few years ago. They have everything you need from a library. Great place to go study. There are quiet rooms as well which are very nice.

Don’t let the small size of this place fool you, cause MAN do they have a great (and very recent) selection of movies to rent. AND it’s free.
To clarify, Poplar Creek is in Hanover Park, but Bartlett residents may still use their Bartlett Library cards here. Poplar has a copy of basically every movie that comes out, right when it comes out, and they keep a list posted of the new ones for each week. Hanover Park residents get VIP access to these movies for like the first 5 days the library has them. No biggie tho.
Did I mention it’s FREE rental? And it’s for 5 days?! Don’t spoil yourself though, $ 2 for every day it’s late.
Screw all of those other rental places, even the dollar ones (that are only for a night!). Poplar Creek is the way to go!
Oh yeah, and they have books too…
