Prices are crazy! I went for a consultation and lower legs are $ 9000! A lot of the time they offer a 50% discount but still, $ 4500 for your knees down? That’s insane and you only get the 50% discount if you finance for 36 months 0 interest with their credit card. At my consultation this was not made clear to me even after asking the women several times about payment options she just kept telling me I could finance for 36 months and failed to mention I needed an Ideal Image credit card, which I found out only after coming in for what was supposed to be my first treatment I was not approved for. Even if I was, I would not of gone through with it because they charge the full price (for me $ 7,500) all on your first appointment and I do not want to spend THREE YEARS paying that off!

I am a new customer to this particular Ideal Image location, but I have been a member with Ideal Image for 2 years now and I absolutely love them!!!
I began with LASER HAIR REMOVAL treatments 2 years ago. I’ve had my underarms, full bikini, and am now working on having my legs done. Today I had my very first COOL SCULPTING appointment.
I cannot speak highly enough about them. Ideal Image takes your safety very seriously, all treatments are FDA cleared and delivered by registered nurses. They do a thorough history with you to make sure you will not be putting yourself at any risk. I was so impressed that they wanted to know all skin conditions I’ve had in the past, they wanted dermatologist approval (as my skin can be tricky), and they did not in any way try to oversell me on anything, if anything they help me save money by helping me identify areas they can treat, while telling my what areas would not be worth my while to treat. The staff and nurses are all incredibly friendly and are willing to go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable while you are in their presence. When you enter the door for an appointment you get checked in and are immediately offered a refreshment. They have fully stocked bathrooms that are clean. They have a pleasant waiting area with music and magazines.
Ok first for laser… Yes it is uncomfortable. I would say that of the areas I’ve had treated, my legs have come the closest to hurting which I believe is due to the fact that it is a larger area and takes longer to treat. The best I can describe the discomfort is like getting a small cut or getting stung by a rubber band. The nurses are amazing though and they work fast to get you in and out with a ton of flexibility. I’m a really busy person and they make this a workable process.
The process is also affordable, they are constantly running different deals to help you get the treatments you want at affordable prices. It’s not cheap, but you wouldn’t want this to be cheap! You want good service. Plus, once you start with Ideal Image you become a member for life. You can then get discounted touch up sessions if your hormones change and some hair comes back (because let’s face it, your body can be fickle).
I have finished treating my underarms and bikini area and I can say that 97% of the hair is gone!!! Now the laser cannot get blondes, reds, or greys, so some very fine soft hair is left, and only a very very very few of my regular hairs have grown back (and my hair used to be thick and annoying). With legs I have had 3 of my 9 treatments so far and it has been wonderful, I’ve barely had to shave since starting treatments. No you will not have absolutely no hairs left, but you will absolutely get your money’s worth, physical science prevents it from working like magic
If you have a low pain tolerance they offer numbing cream and they can write a prescription for pain killers (I cannot vouch for either as I’ve never used them). Either way though the aloe they put on after feels amazing… almost as amazing as 1−2weeks after treatment where all the hair in the area sheds :).
Cool sculpting is probably my new favorite thing :). I first heard about it and thought it was too good to be true. Then I attended the info session and learned that cool sculpting freezes the fat cells and then your body sends enzymes to «eat» the fat cells and your body then eliminates them. After talking with multiple people who had the treatment and seeing before and after pictures off of their phones I knew I wanted this done. I ended up purchasing treatments for my stomach, inner thigh, flanks (aka love handles), and bra line. Today I had my very first set of sessions on stomach and inner thigh.
At first it is uncomfortable when the vacuum sucks in a fold of fat, but once the cooling is turned on you go numb in about 5 minutes and then you sit there for an hour. I asked them about frostbite and they have multiple protective factors so you will not be harmed (it is FDA cleared remember). It’s a long day getting multiple of these treatments, but I am so excited to start seeing real results in a couple months. After the treatment is done the nurse massages the skin and fat back into place. You feel numb and sore in the areas treated and are instructed to put on spanx or an equivalent type garment the first couple days to help support you and keep things in place as your body readjusts (trust me it helps). I would not say I’m in pain, I’d say I’m aching a little. I’ve been told the first week you feel it the most, you may bruise, pain may worsen, but then it gets better.
All in all, I absolutely love Ideal Image. I have gotten a few friends to sign up for services and they have reported positive feedback as well. These services are an absolute gift to myself and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.

Went for a consultation. The prices are ridiculous, packages (even with 60% discount) are more than you find on Groupon and living social. And their ‘guarantee’ is that if your 6 treatments don’t work, you are ‘alllowed’ to buy additional treatments at rates that are STILL more than any living social deal (over $ 125 per treatment, per area). The only reason to bother going here is bc they have a laser that is supposed to work on darker skins and they have 36 mo financing. Instead, I’d piece meal what you need from other places, ensuring they have the laser for your skin color, and pay for each area as you get the money. Total waste of time with their guarantee that «let’s» you purchase more sessions (which are piced at other places’ full price).

The services offered at Ideal Image are certainly not cheap, but I am very happy with my results thus far. Prior to coming to Ideal Image I was receiving electrolysis treatments for at least two years. Ideal Image has given me hair-​free results that lasts. The facilities are always clean and the employees are always friendly, courteous and knowledgable. If you have unsightly body hair that you want removed, I would defiantly recommend Ideal Image.

I doubt I will be coming back because although I have been coming since 2011 the technician told me that I had a different plan than what I traditionally paid and charged me more than I normally pay and what was even worse is that the hair on my leg is unchanged. I am not sure what had changed about the staff because they have changed significantly and since the location is not even convenient I don’t see the point in returning.

Yes it is expensive, but what do you expect — bargain laser treatments? It is comparable to other quotes I have received and cheaper than one, maybe I am just going to more high-​end and reputable establishments. You only get one body, right?
I have had LHR by a dermatologist and had terrible results, there wasn’t even a reduction in growth after 4 treatments… I’ve had one treatment over a month ago and have not had to shave since (different area as before) — It was totally pain free, which my other treatments were not — they were incredibly painful and I left in tears and swollen anywhere I was treated. The staff is nothing but nice and courteous and make me feel comfortable during treatments.
If you want quality results, try it on one small area first — don’t jump right in and do your bikini or legs which is going to be very expensive… you’ll need the 36 months interest free to pay for that.
I’m sure the 50 and 60 percent off will be offered again, so don’t be a fool and fall for their advertising gimmicks to get you to buy more right up front. Give it a try, you won’t be sorry.

Is it possible to give a negative review?
My current dermatologist asked that I stop by and check out the competition. The prices are absolutely insane!!!
Beware of the advertised 50% discount, the only way to get it is to finance your treatment for 36 months– not a good look. The price for an individual treatment for a medium size area came to about $ 799. While my dermatologist charges only $ 350 and is in Chevy Chase. Needless to say, I got out of there. There are no dermatologists on site and no doctors, a sales lady takes you to a room and suggests the areas of treatment no one is on staff to back up the sales persons claims.
I don’t even see how this franchise is legal. Get zapped at your own risk!!! Or do your research and consult one of the area’s dermatologists before you give up your first born child and finance an otherwise affordable procedure with these people.
