This store went thru a rough patch a year or so ago, but it’s back up to par. Operationally things seem to be more confidence-inspiring. Employees seem better trained and more helpful. There’s one guy in particular — a manager of some sort — who is just fantastic and seems to be holding the whole place together. Whatever his salary is, JCrew should double it right now.

First, it’s important to note that yes, the overall quality of J. Crew products have declined somewhat in recent years. However, that isn’t the fault of the individual stores. I’ve always had great customer service experiences in here, which is what’s important in a retail store, and more importantly, have found the selection here to be more than adequate.
Tip for current Dartmouth students: unlike most J. Crew locations around the U.S., this location lets you stack your student discount (10%) on top of sales prices, which is excellent. Take advantage of this while you can!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. He informed us about the current sales, guided some choices, and even served us an espresso. Everything is in the store was orderly and well-presented. I would return
