Rebates and price are the reasons to do your appliance shopping at PC Richard. Sure they have a huge showroom and many locations, and I’ve found the salespeople to be quite reasonable. But mainly you can luck into big manufacturer rebates, and their prices are extremely competitive. Those rebates invariably exclude the big-box places like the blue store, the orange store and snears. But purchases at regional chains like this one are eligible! Over the years I’ve bought 2 dishwashers, a fridge, a washer, a dryer and a microwave. I got a rebate on every single one, I’m not kidding, it added up to hundreds of dollars. Most recently I even compared their prices to online sources and there was no competition, PCR was cheaper. This location is all alone on Route 10, plenty of parking of course, the front of the store has the cheap stuff and the back of the store has the $ 10k refrigerators and ginormous stoves. So they serve all markets. Choose a delivery date and they pick the time, they call the night before. If you buy during a sale but aren’t ready to take delivery, it’s no problem. They were happy to keep our kitchen appliances for many weeks at no extra charge. I highly recommend working with Scott D., he was a pleasure, checked and re-checked the prices each time we visited, and sometimes the numbers actually went down! I don’t enjoy buying appliances, believe me, but these guys had the best rebate, the best prices, the best selection — simply as good as it could possibly get, so 5 stars is the only possible rating.

i used to be involved in property management and i buy all the appliances here… stoves, fridges, everything. barry chase helps me out. he doesn’t try to oversell anything. he just gives me a fair price and directs me to exactly the correct product i want. there’s no crazy haggling or showing me things i don’t want. simple. i do business and walk out. if something isn’t right for some reason, barry and pc richards do what they can to make it right. i have no complaints. i will continue to go here.

Quite disappointed. Purchased a Miele dishwasher, salesman was wishy-washy on whether they had it in stock, of course they didn’t. Took a week and a half for them to get the dishwasher, then they scheduled the install for a friday night between 4:30 and 8:30/p…totally stupid. Won’t buy from them again, very disorganized.

Wish I could give them 10-stars! Two years ago we purchased am 18,000BTU Friedrich A/C which worked fine, that is until we put it in service last week. The fan only worked on low and the air output was warm only, Having purchased the extended warranty I called their customer service line to get it repaired. I was greeted with a friendly CS rep who listened to my issue. Long story short, I was covered, but they could not find ANY repair company in my area to fix this brand. I was told to come back to the store and get a replacement unit and that they would honor the last 3-years on our warranty. I had that answer within 48 hours of the first call. The CS rep kept me updated along the way. That is what good customer service is! WOW! We brought the unit back the following day(the only inconvenience with this transaction is that my husband had to take it back out of the window and put it in our minivan — it weighs over 100#) and went to the Hanover store. Within 20 minutes we had found another units(went larger and paid the few dollars difference) and were on our way! No fuss — no problems, and a friendly salesperson in the store. As it happened my one daughter needed a small A/C for her apartment so we also purchased her one while there. Great Memorial Day sale price. I have dealt with PC Richard numerous times over 20+ years. I have always been pleased. Back in 2004 I purchased a TV(from the Wayne store) and when it was to be delivered(along with a washer and freezer) the model was out-of-stock. Instead of making me wait for them to get more they offered me a better unit for the same price. Again, WOW! I guess this is why they have been in business do long! I highly recommend them!

I just built a new house and we needed appliances. After searching far and wide, a friend recommended I work with Lorenzo at this store. He was super helpful. I was really surprised how much the guys know about the appliances. I mean every detail about how they work, the warranties, what features are worth it and which ones aren’t, etc. No hard selling on warranties or pressure to spend more than my budget. What I really liked also was that they had ALL of the appliances on the floor. Even the counter depth versions of the refrigerators, which weren’t on display anywhere else. All of the colors were represented too. No guessing. Most impressive was price matching. Other stores had a song and dance about why they couldn’t honor it. PC Richard verified it and no problem, it was matched. I’m glad they do 7 day delivery because I won’t have to take time off from work to wait for installation. Great experience. I wish my whole construction experience was this easy!

I’ve always had a great relationship with this store, especially at this location in East Hanover. The manager Joe actually helped me tremendously when my dish washer conked out and did not screw me financially. Always gives great deals and they have a terrific delivery service. This is te only store to buy major appliances. Also, this past week a salesman named Pedro helped me – he was terrific.

Salesman seemed genuinely interested in helping us get the dishwasher that will fit our needs. Pricing a little confusing. Will stop by again to check out a better unit. Hopefully they will be able to close the deal. Could easily chg review to 4 or 5 stars

Do not go there! They treat people(especially women) like dirt. Go to the PC Richard in Roxbury. They were fantastic. I am spreading the word — do not go to the East Hanover store.
