I may not be judging this grocery store correctly, as I am not from the area, but JEEZ, much much much better selection than most of the supermarkets in California. To Pennsylvanians, I’m sorry if I sound like an ignorant out-of-stater. 1) LOTS of different meats to choose from in the deli section. I’m talking sweet bologna, lebanon bologna, sweet lebanon bologna(lol), honey ham, and many other things that i NEVER see in Califonia 2) They have a great selection of cheese! I’ve never seen sharp american cheese before, but they have this here :) 3) Utz chips and tastycakes galoreeeeeee. I wish California had these. 4) There was a sweet lady in the back giving out samples and coupons. I feel like I see this very rarely in grocery stores nowadays. 5) Self checkout and normal checkout for your convenience :) Overall, I had a very pleasant experience. Everyone was really friendly, despite yours truly making a fool of myself by taking pictures of Edy’s ice cream and Utz chips(lol). Such a tourist… My last visit to Hanover was 4 years ago, so I don’t remember my other grocery store experiences, but as Weis is so close to my Grandma’s house AND they are friendly and have a nice selection of food items, I don’t see why people would shop anywhere else :)
