This is such a beautiful campground. Plenty of space to sprawl out your RV, fast toys and even the kiddos. Went camping here with a group of 12 other and had such a blast being out in the woods and shedding our city slicker side for a few days. Hot showers will cost you $ 2 and there’s even a laundry room so you don’t have to forego the necessities of a civilized world. Just minutes from the local grocery mart and gas station, you don’t even have to fret if you forgot creamer for coffee as in my case(they have flavored creamer. OMG !!!). The best part is you literally are a stop sign up from the Tonto National Forest and the best off roading trails that you can’t locate even on the GPS. This is my idea of being of the radar. The only downfall is the park ranger. She’s a dragon lady that will come by and make sure all RV park rules are strictly enforced. No wiggle room including you can’t leave the grounds nor start your generators before 8am and lights out by 10p. What happened to late night storytelling over smores? So pack plenty of blankets or cuddle tightly or break the rules and turn up the iPod and pass the moonshine. If you’re going to go out, go big!
