Maurices

I fell in love with Maurices when I entered the one at Tanger Outlet in Gonzales, LA. When I found out this one opened in Elmwood, I was totally ecstatic! I couldn’t be happier about the convenience of the location since I do all my shopping in that area :)
As expected, the staff are super helpful and friendly. I don’t feel rushed, and I don’t feel like the staff asks me if I need help just because it’s their job. One of the things that set Maurices apart from everywhere else is that the staff asks if they can get a dressing room ready for you. They take your current items in hand to a dressing room with your name on it so you know where to go once you’re ready to try everything on. It’s almost like luxury shopping lol.
Besides that, the collection contains fast fashion as well as timeless pieces. I love their jewelry/​accessories, and last I checked, the jewelry are buy one get one half off. Since they carry all sizes, there’s something in there for everyone! I’m on the petite side, but the best part about Maurices is how well the clothes fit (they have XS!) and the quality! I can justify ~$ 30 – 50 for a dress because it’s well-​made, timeless, versatile, and fits all the right places! Maurices is the perfect place to shop for those girl night outs or for the office :)
