Nostalgic review for me. This tiny hole-in-the-wall is a neighborhood convenience store where you can buy emergency cereal, milk, limes, soda on the way home from school and the best-tasting Mexican food on your lunch break. You have to walk all the way to the back to even see the kitchen area; but when you do, you’ll need ten minutes to pour over all of the choices available to you on the wall to your right, about 8 feet up. For me, nothing tops their Taco Dorado de Pollo, please get two. The juice that runs down the shell as you bite into the golden hard shell chicken taco never hits the ground, or your shirt, because it turn right around and floats right on up to heaven(where it was created). Also order up their bean and cheese burrito, it’s got the very same juice deep, deep inside. There are thirty other things I didn’t mention here, but I only order what I know. And what I know YOU will like. It’s amazing how I stop and stare at the menu but still order only the same two things all of these years(I’ve been going since 1980). The owners are not Mexican, but Honduran; though the neighborhood has adopted them as their own. I can only visit Harbor City now, but when I do, this place is a must-stop.
