My family has been eating food from Chang’s for years. It NEVER disappoints us. Some
Of our favorites are: drunken noodles, pad Thai, any of the fried rice and happy family dinner. The soups and egg rolls are tasty too!

I have had changs many times and generally it is very good which is why I gave them 3 stars instead of 1. The dinner my husband and I had last night was terrible :-/​the rice was old and hard. The chicken was stale and soggy at the same time. There is more but those were our biggest complaints :-/​I know that restaurants have bad days but this was more like they took all the food they didn’t sell yesterday and tried to pass it off for today’s food. Honestly it was so bad that we won’t be going back, it ruined all the good meals we eaten in the past.

Amazing service! Made to order cuisine! Small family owned restaurant. They give attention to the details that matter! You’ll never be disappointed.

This was the worst food we have ever had at a restaurant. The food was so bad that we could not eat it, and had to leave. I don’t think it even should get one star. They should be ashamed.

This place rocks! I am completely addicted to the Gang Masaman! Frankly, when you look at this tiny little place in a strip mall, you can’t believe it can be worth the effort! But, man, you couldn’t be more wrong! Best food you can find!!!

The food is outstanding. All three of us have had different meals each time, and they’ve all been delicious. Even my dad liked it both times we’ve been, and that’s saying something. This time, I honestly would’ve licked the plate if I was at home.
The service is what made me SIGN UP FOR AN ACCOUNT JUST SO I COULD TELL YOU how great it is. It has been beyond great each time. We really felt like GUESTS in their home.
And as I’m distracted trying to figure how to sign up for this just so I could tell you how great Changs is, I forgot my container on the table. Our waiter ran out in the parking lot just to bring it back to me! Point proven.

Best Chinese in Harbor Springs… good food, Tony the waiter was excellent. Although this is a small establishment and not a «5 star» restaraunt, I gave it five stars for the flavor of the food, the friendliness of the staff and the speed of service. This is a restaurant we will definitely visit again when we are in the Petoskey/​Harbor Springs area. The fried rice is great, if you are from the greater GR area, it is just like Hong Kong Inn fried rice!

This place is definitely a diamond in the rough. With a recent visit to Hong Kong, I’ve had my experiences with authentic and delicious Chinese food. Although this place didn’t have a single person in it when we went, the atmosphere was nice and cozy. The lighting was very good and the music was elegant. We ordered the drunken noodles with chicken and the lo mein noodles with chicken as well as the pork egg rolls. Are of the dishes where elegantly presented and deliciously tasty. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the area, visiting or local, for some amazing Chinese or Thai food. The price wasn’t too bad either for the quality of the food. You can also order take out there ;)

One wouldn’t think a Chinese food restaurant in Northern Michigan would be noteworthy but Chang Cuisine is an amazing find! It is a nice little restaurant with a fancy setting. The menu is diverse and great. Sushi on Wednesday nights! All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for any occasion.

I love Chang Cuisine’s food almost as much as I love the family that runs it! Wonderful, wonderful food and people. I just wish there was a true vegetarian and vegan selection but the few non-​seafood items I can eat are delicious. The friend rice with tofu is amazing, and since I love my food spicy, they not only can give you the level of heat you want, but also have a contest for those who can take the hottest level. Possibly the best food of its kind in Northern Michigan.

I would give 5 stars for customer service and food. However, only giving 2 stars because on numerous occasions I have called to order dinner and get the answering machine saying they are closed on days they’re supposed to be open. This has happened about a dozen times in the last year. I understand there are some circumstances beyond your control when you must close, but it seems to happen every time I call

The 5 stars is based on the food and service. The food was fresh and flavorful. I had the Pad Ped. I ordered wo/​meat or tofu, but w/​extra eggplant instead. The sauce was perfectly spiced, light, and enhanced every bite of vegetables. Excellent.
My husband had chop suey. The beef was tender and tasty. Vegetables were fresh, not overcooked. The food did not seem to be over salted.
The service was excellent. Friendly and helpful w/​information when ordering.
We found this restaurant on Unilocal.We were very pleased with our experience and will definitely return.

Boaters — here’s a tip. They will DELIVER TO YOUR BOAT if you ask! Yeah! The food was terrific. There were 7 of us and we each ordered something and shared. Everything was spot on including the delicious and not too greasy egg roll. Welcome relief from fried fish and prime rib at every other MI restaurant. If you do go here I did notice their on-​line menu said no alcohol. Yikes! Glad they could deliver.

Phenomenal food. Very tiny restaurant is very deceiving from the outside. Presentation is top notch, excellent service. Do NOT pass this place up.

The only problem with this menu is trying to decide what to order. I love Thai food and this Thai menu is authentic. But then there’s the Chinese menu, too. How to choose? Quiet setting with ½ dozen tables. Great for lunch and dinner. Take out, too. Family run… this family knows their cuisine.

We were pleased to find this gem in a quiet neighborhood in Harbor Springs. The dining room containing about a half dozen tables, was very comfortable – quiet, with mellow jazz playing softly on the sound system— a much welcome change from the head banging music too often encountered in restaurants. The service was excellent– welcoming and attentive.
The menu is quite varied for both the Chinese and Thai dishes. As for our selections, the perfectly formed Crab Rangoon wontons and the accompanying orange sauce were amongst the best we have ever had. My husband had the wonton soup, which was well seasoned and and light. His Sechzuan Pork was tender and also spiced just as he requested. My General Tao Chicken was rest, and made more interesting by the grilling of the red hot peppers, giving it a nice smoky flavor. Excellent value for the very reasonable price!

Having recently moved from southern CA, my hubby and I were looking for delicious Asian cuisine and found it here! We have been back a few times and every time we are impressed with the food and service. The Thai curries are my favorite — it doesn’t get better than this.

Very good Chinese and Thai dishes. We had the Drunken Noodles (spicy) and the Chicken Fried Rice. Service was good, and the food was freshly prepared and steaming hot.
