Bay Roc Marina

Bay Roc Marina has the friendliest staff and mechanics!
My family is new to the area and this will be our base marina. We’ve had 2 of our older boats worked on here and the mechanic has been honest with fair prices. The mechanic also keeps to his promised time-​frames, so you can rest assured your repair will be ready on time. The marina also has wet and dry slips for those homes without a dock.
The little shop has all of our basics — BEER, snacks, and trinkets. The food shack seems sketchy, but the food is really good. The ladies that work there are super friendly. We pulled up to the dock to get some lunch and fill up the boat with gas. We told the woman ringing up the gas that we were getting lunch too and she trusted us to pay when we were done with everything.
They have a covered picnic area. It’s a little dinky looking, but it seems like it would be fun. They have pig roasts and bands there on weekend nights. it is definitely a down to earth establishment and right up our alley.
Glad to have Bay Roc Marina on Smith Mountain Lake.
