First off, I hate writing bad reviews, but this needs to be said about this company. If I could put 0 stars, I would. I had received call from the owner of this company on Saturday morning, to notify me that someone close to me was in need of my help to be released from jail, and that the bond was set at $ 8,000. I told her that no one in my family had the required 10%($ 800) to bond him out and he was likely going to have to stay there. The next day he was released on a PR bond, and the first thing he did was text me with threats and harassment related to the conversation I had with the owner. Might I add that this person requesting my help for bond money is a criminal, is dangerous, and scares my entire family with his excessive volatility. I called the company to politely address this situation with someone and I was told that they had nothing to do with what was said, and said I was making false accusations. She was abrasive and rude to me when I was simply attempting to get to the root of the matter to figure out what happened and what was said. She denied everything, and roughly stated that I should notify the police of the situation. The fact of the matter is that if she had not told him what I said to her, then I would not have received any threats from him. I know the bonds business is an ugly business to be involved in, and requires a tough disposition to ensure that they get their investments back. However, in my honest opinion, a company that has been open for 23 years should know that filtering what is said between a criminal and their«potential clients»(the folks putting their neck on the line to remove someone from jail) is imperative. Lack of filtration could potentially lead to violent actions taken on the people who declined to assist in the release by the criminal. Her actions may have put me danger now that he has been released, and that will never be forgotten nor forgiven. Steer clear from this bond company. AAArdvark Bail Bonds lack ethics and couth.
