Taste not bad, ordered steak fajitas steak was shredded into little sticks and veggies were waaay over cooked, almost like they had been cooked and held over. Have tried them 3 – 4 times portions are rediculously small and prices are not. Won’t ever be going back unless it changes owners

We were greeted at the door by very courteous employees. They had chips on the table before we ordered our drinks. Took our food order promtly and within 5 mins. delivered our order. Matridea was happy to take our picture. A free desert was also provided. My significant other had a margiritta and rated it a 8. All of this for under $ 25.00.

I love going here. Silvia is the sweetest waitress I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Everyone is so nice and the food is good. I recommend the steak fajitas.

Casa De Oro, I wish you were better. I like Mexican food because it has color, heat, texture, and bold, fresh flavors, but the food here is so, so bland, and I think a lot of it is probably frozen. It isn’t real Mexican food. Hell, it isn’t even Tex-Mex, because if it were, it would still at least have some spice to it. I always find it unfortunate when restaurateurs assume that Americans prefer utterly flavorless, beige colored food. The second star is simply for the food not seeming gross. I actually feel a little bad giving a negative review, but I think you’ll find that people prefer freshness and flavor over a restaurant that caters to «all tastes.»

Casa de Oro«Tengo Hambre!!» Simply translated, Casa de Oro A.K.A. the«House of Gold» lives up to its grand title. It may seem cliché that you expect to walk into a Mexican Restaurant and automatically have chips and salsa appear at your table. Casa de Oro takes it a step further with their home made tortilla chips that are still warm from the fryer and a house salsa that can beat most Cali-Mex hand’s down. This authentic cuisine(for that IS what it is mi amigo) is tasty, fresh and not too costly. The dinner platters are HUGE(Muy Grande!) and could substitute for an old 33″ LP record. Number veinte-seite(27 for the gringo’s) piled high with Camarónes(Shrimp) with mushrooms in the house gravy is sublime. The homemade guacamole is maravilloso(Come on– you can figure out what this means) served with the side of house maíz(corn) tortillas. The beer selection covers the necessary choices: Corona, Tecate, Pacifico, Dos Equis and they actually have Negro Modello Especial, one of my favorite darker Mexican cervezas. La «Abuela» in the kitchen makes her unsurpassed Chicken Tamales and the sizzlin’ Fajitas will make you wish you could order more! For dessert try the Mexican style deep fried ice cream or obviously the Flan which is muy delicioso. So open yourself up to another culture through cuisine and try Casa de Oro– you will not be disappointed– and as they say in espanol: la comida es fantastico!
