Harlan Auto Mart

I was travelling across the country, from Wisconsin to Colorado, and was just passing through Iowa after winter storm Kayla when my Jeep started acting funny. At the next truck stop, I asked one of the cashiers where I should take it. She told me that she only takes her car to Harlan Auto, gave me directions to the shop, and sent me on my way.
Once I got there, I asked the clerk if they had time to get me in. They made time for me immediately because I was travelling. Within the hour, my car trouble was diagnosed. Unfortunately, they did not have that part in and the auto stores were closed due to the snow storm.
Without charging me anything for the diagnosis and their time, they referred me to another shop in Council Bluffs that would have the part and would be able to get me in to have it fixed.
You know a good mechanic when they care about the customer, not just about the money. If I lived in Avoca, I would only take my Jeep to this shop, as well.
