Kumon Math and Reading Center of Harleysville

After hearing about Kumon from many of our colleagues we finally decided to enroll our kids. We originally enrolled our kids back in 2012 and last summer the owner changed and we couldn’t be happier. I’ve noticed that that our kids are not only excelling in math and reading but they are much more independent than ever before. I know that their are tons of Kumon centers around but I will always think of this one first. The instructor here is one of the best and she is always willing to work with you every step of the way. I know my kids will continue to learn more and succeed more and I owe it to Kumon. p

We had heard about Kumon and wanted to give it a try. I enrolled my son at Kumon of HARLEYSVILLE, PA. Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience at this center. The teacher is not encouraging and motivating at all. Instead, points out students’ mistakes and mocks them in front other students and parents and crushes their self confidence, totally unprofessional and exactly opposite to what they should be doing. Not only she does that to the kids, but also yells at the older helping student who check other’s work. For this particular center, there has been a number of parents who have left and enrolled them to other center. I hope that Kumon head office takes note of this and take necessary action. This particular teacher is all about making more money by having student unnecessarily repeat materials. After giving it a lot of thoughts, today we pulled the plug on it.
