Worst service ever, we came to this place like always and i ordered a combo and i asked the waitress to hold the pancakes towards the end like i always do, and she said no we cant do that, i was in shock and told her to bring manager and he simply said we cant, we cant make the cook to do that for you, truly dissapointed, even Ihop does it

Frozen food. Yuk! The Hamburger steak my husband got was nothing more than a frozen hamburger patty, no grilled onions and no gravey. The macaroni and cheese was runny and the «country green beans» were just canned green beans, bland no flavor. Service was terrible too. Not going back. Rather go to Luby’s cafeteria.

We love eating at Cracker Barrel we hate take out from Cracker Barrel.
When we eat here we have no issues. The service is always excerpt and the food is always served piping hot and quickly.
When we do take out, we always have to complain because they mess up the order in some manner.
The take out issue is the reason they don’t get 5 stars!

The breakfast is fantastic! By far, best pancakes I’ve ever had. Don’t even get me started on those biscuits and gravy, lol. Delicious! Now, to be honest, I’ve never had dinner here, but I always come for breakfast and they never disappoint.
The staff is real friendly and knowledgeable about various menu items. The dining area is kept nice and clean. The waitress was very attentive, and had a fun attitude, made our whole party laugh. Overall just a positive atmosphere, great for families.

The customer service is friendly and happy. But the good always tastes like it’s been microwaved.
The broccoli tastes like fish. I do not recommend the food. It’s overrated.

What’s great about a place like Cracker Barrel is that you always know what to expect, no matter the location. This Cracker Barrel is no different. The staff is quick, attentive, and friendly, and the food is great each time. It’s a pretty consistent experience with other Cracker Barrels I have eaten at and is one of my go-​tos. I definitely recommend the Old Timer’s Breakfast and Grandpa’s Country Fried Breakfast.

If you give this joint less than 5 stars its time to see a shrink. Ita plain good. healthy is hard here as who doesnt want fried chicken or biscuits… its comfort food. Very good service here and food is great

Love this place! We waited awhile to be seated (so many people and i know why) but they were constantly checking on us. When we were seated, the service and the food were wonderful. We will be back!

So, I am down here in Harlingen temporarily and I usually don’t go to chain restaurants like this. However, my choices for breakfast are few. With that said, the service is excellent as I have now been here on three separate occasions and each one has been a positive experience.
The hostess’s have been very accommodating as they have to seat us in an area that provides room for a stroller.
The waiters and waitresses have been on point each time. They have demonstrated spot on hospitality. They are warm, friendly and attentive to their duties.
The food is well prepared, made to order. The eggs are moist and the bacon is cooked to near perfection. I prefer my bacon crispy. I particularly love the turkey sausage patties. Flavorful and moist every time. They serve what appears to be fresh orang juice, as I am not an avid orange juice drinker, it hits the spot for me nonetheless.
I particularly love how attentive they are to families with children. For me, this is and has been a great experience.
