84 Lumber

Extremely disappointed in this store. I was super excited about buying some lumber to make a raised garden bed. I wanted 2 2×12 12 footers in either cedar or redwood. When I walked in there were two people, both helping someone else. I decided to walk around and look at the other products they had available. Not an impressive selection by any means. After around 45 minutes, one of the employees was finally free to help me. Understaffed, much?! I gave him a description of my project and what I was thinking. He told me «We don’t have any cedar in stock. We could special order it, but I wouldn’t be able to give you a price until it arrived». This seemed dangerous because they could charge essentially any price they wanted. I said forget it and walked out empty handed. So much for buying local!
