Love this place! Again, so lucky to have a specialty store in our town. Sherry has done a wonderful job with this place. She and her staff are very knowledgeable on all their products which includes the health benefits from these oils. They do a great job helping you pair a vinegar with an oil to make a great salad dressing or marinade. I would tell you my favorite but I really don’t have one, there all great. Spend a little time there and try the samples to find yours, good luck!

As someone who cooks often — and starts from scratch as often as possible, I was thrilled to hear about a shop that specialized in one or 2 of my main ingredients. The shop is very nice — as basic as it gets(’cause what else do you need but vats of olive oil at an olive oil store?) but really well appointed, open, friendly, and comfortable. The staff has always been helpful. The Butter Olive Oil has become a staple, as I’m allergic to milk but can use this oil with out worry. Not to mention the flavor is amazing. I’d recommend anyone who cooks often or takes thier food prep seriously to stop in. If you’d like to be more daring with your flavors or are a «timid» cook, they are great at offering pairing and suggestions. I was surprised at the prices too, Olive Oils and good vinegars can be pricey, but thier prices seemed very reasonable for the quality you get.

The Enchanted Olive was at the Harmony Farmer’s Market with some of their fabulous oils and vinegars. The owner and her husband were on hand to answer questions, and they had a simple but elegant display of their products. I tried the Pineapple White Balsamic Vinegar, and liked it so much that I took a bottle home and used it to make dinner. There were several other flavored vinegars that I intend to try over the next few months, and I’m looking forward to some great oils from their shop as well! It’s nice to know that there’s a gourmet oil & vinegar shop just a short distance from home, and even better to know that it’s a locally-owned and run business. I now have one less reason to fight traffic to get to a Market District store — I’d much rather support a local small business owner.
