Best BBQ around! Very reasonable prices and very tasty. Try the beef brisket. Jalapeño potato pancakes make an awesome side. And you can’t go wrong with bacon bourbon bbq sauce.

My husband and I stopped at West Penn BBQ for dinner before we went to get our taxes done. We both got the brisket and my husband wished he had gotten a larger size. I highly recommend WP BBQ in Zelienople!

2 BBQ places stick out in my mind as being the best. Clem’s on Route 22 and West Penn BBQ. Went here on a Friday for lunch with my coworker. It’s north of Zelienople back in a little plaza. It’s a typical BBQ setup where you order your food and pick it up from the window, and has a cool mixture of random pictures decorating the walls. As lunch progressed, the place steadily filled up which is a very good sign.
The food was very reasonably priced for a BBQ. I got a pulled pork sandwich and a side of perogies for $ 8 and my coworker got the same with a side of jalapeño potato cakes. The perogies were a great choice and obvious that they were made fresh! Absolutely fantastic pulled pork with a nice selection of BBQ dressings on the table (House, Spicy, Vinegar, Honey Mustard, and Bourbon).
We spoke to one of the owners after our meal was done. It is very clear that these people are SERIOUSLY into smoking and BBQ. For them it’s a passion and it’s resulted in a very delicious business that they are sharing for a great price. This and Clem’s are 2 of the best BBQ places in the greater Pittsburgh area.

As a friend and I had time to drive around one afternoon, we ended up Harmony and BBQ sounded good so we stopped in.
It was a great choice. We ended up sharing the fries with back bacon and cheese curds. Good but oh so fattening.
He had a Pulled Pork Sandwich with Slaw and I choose the big sampler style plate. They were unfortunately out of brisket, so I had the hot sausage. The entire meal was very satisfying. The ribs were smoked nicely with most of the fat rendered off or into the meat. They were tender and moist. The pulled pork had allot of flavor. The sausage was a little fattier than I like, since I’m older and don’t need it but it was yummy.
It also came with a bunch of carbs in the form of a delicious corn bread muffin and 2 slices of bread. I didn’t eat the bread. The potato salad was nice but the bread and butter pickles did the trick. There were also dill pickles and sliced onion. They can keep the dill pickles compared to the bread and butter.
If this place wasn’t so far from home, I’d probably be here weekly for the ribs and wonderful variety of sauces. I would have brought sauce home if I’d had room in my luggage.
Stop in if you want something good for dinner or lunch. You’ll be very happy when you leave.

I swear I thought I had written a review for west penn bbq, I don’t know how I could have been so remiss in singing my praises of this place.
Service has always been very friendly and fast, I will say that a couple of times when we have ordered take out, the young lady who answered the phone could have used a little lesson in proper phone etiquette. She’s very friendly don’t get me wrong, but a little flighty I guess.
The food is wonderful. I adore the spicy cheddar kielbasa sandwich. I always try to order something else but I just can’t because this sandwich is just so dang good. And the jalapeño potato pancakes are my favorite side. I was put a huge fan of the potato salad or the baked beans, but the potato pancakes more than make up for it.
I also love that they have so many different sauces available on the table. My favorite is the Carolina mustard and the house. Highly recommend if you are in the zelie area!

Have eaten here twice and both times it was great. This last time I had a kielbasa sandwich and pierogies and it was amazing. I’ve never really found anything coming close to the kielbasa that my grandmother makes, but this does! When we were finishing up our meal the owner came over and introduced himself and was very nice. Talked about their process and how they make everything in house and let us sample some bacon. which was also amazing. I’ll be making some trips back for sure!
