Paid $ 30 for 3 tiny containers of pulled pork, chicken, and beef brisket. We ordered 2 beef and 1 pulled pork but they screwed the order up. The chicken was dry, the pulled pork was oily, the beef brisket was okay. Honestly, I have had better BBQ at Famous Dave’s(I know, right?). Plus, it only costs $ 40 for me to take my whole family there. I think that all the rave reviews are people who were starving and ANYTHING would have tasted good. Save your money, this place is not worth it.

Nice roadside BBQ. Tried the pulled pork and fries with KS City sauce. Did not disappoint.

I gave one star as i dont think this place any longer exists. Spent an hour driving back and forth the section of 340 where it is supposed to be. 8 guess this summer(of 2013) they are no longer in business or have changed the location. i was stupid not to pay attention to the date of the last review before going on a trip to Harpers Ferry and anticipating. Nice lunch on the way.

They have two locations — one in WV and the other is up Route 15, right south of Point of Rocks/Virginia border. In Virgina, it is right before the bridge crossing to MD, it is located on a patch of gravel to your right. Usually every weekend they are are there in tent along with their neighbors whom sell yummy kettle-corn and other sweets. Meat is cooked 12 hours and is the most tender pulled pork i have had in Virginia and amongst the most tender I’ve ever tasted. Seeing how I’ve spent high school summers driving around for bbq and still enjoy tasting new ones, I may have some knowledge on this topic :-). You do not need sauce here folks. Though their tomato-based vinegar sauce comes in Medium or Spicy varients are both decent. Pulled Pork: Aroma — makes me hungry thinking of this. To be honest I do not remember the aroma as I devoured both huge sandwiches in 10 minutes. Flavor — very good 4.5 out of 5(I reserve this half-star until I finally reach the supposed Holy Grail of Eastern Style NC bbq: Wilbur’s in Goldsboro and Skylight Inn in Ayden North Carolina and deliver my judgement on those esteemed establishments). Texture — succlent, juicy, Tender — five star tenderness not overly tender(mush) but not overly chewy(bark) Spici-ness = not spicy which is how i prefer my bbq — no hotness needed nor wanted. That«it» factor making you want more: has this in spades ;-). Portion size — excellent size for the money — one is all most will need, if not half of one. Unless you are like me and eat two and regret it sort of afterwards. I was disappointed there were not there this past weekend(Jan 7) since it was 65 deg out but maybe they were on holiday leave. They’ve said they are year round on weekends so I’ll bet they will be back next weekend. Course Harper’s Ferry is not too much farther away…

Pulled pork(smoke gets in my mouth), BBQd chicken, ribs and sides of potato salad(with bacon cubes!), coleslaw(no may but pickling spices), and beans. The sauce they use is Bone Sucking Sauce, sweet or spicy(gringo spicy, Scoville two). The smoker is about the size of a mini-coop. The tables are four picnic tables. They weren’t planning on the good weather. So, they ran out… I want ribs, I scream, you scream for ribs!!! But, at $ 8 for a pulled pork sandwich with two sides, this place is so catering to the city slickers who come out this a-way. After you are done here, walk to the other tent and buy super-big-city priced popcorn($ 10 for chocolate butter popcorn!). This place is next to gas station. Get there! Yeehaa!
