am not really big on lobster. now that i’ve got a Maine hq and 2 working lobster wharves within a 5min bike, let’s just say my guests and i’ve been eating plenty. with season in full swing, both have sold out daily leading to 4^th of July. can’t help being reminded of lobstering in Harpswell. a neighbor next mailbox over is a lobsterman and many more around Basin Cove. start of spring, newly painted bouys and traps line driveways ready to cast and shacks start to open up/down the coast.
tip: current dock prices $ 4.50/lb soft, $ 5.50 hard shell. pricey in August, less so in fall.
