G-Pa’s

This is great home cooked food. And by homecooked, I don’t mean packaged food made to resemble something you had long ago as a child at grandma’s house! I mean actually handmade, home cooked food. The waitress was super sweet (ask for Ashley). The building was clean and I had more food than I could finish. The pies are also handmade and really delicious. This is a hidden gem and I almost passed it up. Glad I came here and you will be too when you stop by!

This is the ideal place to eat! Small town hospitality at its finest! Food was phenomenal! Their was a disabled veteran eating and when he got up to leave the waitress held open the door, you don’t get that kind of service in the big city!!! This is a must try!

Unilocaled this place and was quite pleased with my burger and my wife loved her BLT with avocado. Will be back!

Great home cooked meal and excellent service at a great price a restaurant that helps the local community.

Always enjoy lunch at GPAS, Jason even stopped by our table to say Hi! Today’s special was the A1 burger it was yummy! I can’t say enough about the fresh food they serve.

I hate to do this but I’m going to have to give my dinner experience at G-Pa’s a 2 star. The food we ordered tasted good but it took WAY to long getting our dinner. Granted, the restaurant was very busy, but we sat for quite some time before our order was taken. We placed 5 orders — my husband, 3 kids and myself. After already waiting for a long bit of time, only 4 of us got our plates. Even though the waitress apologized to us on numerous occasions, we never got my youngest son’s plate until after everyone else was already finished eating and we were ready to go. Thankfully, my youngest had fallen asleep during our wait so we just had them put his food in a to go box.
Again, the food was great and the waitress was very nice and apologetic about the time frame, but I’m going to have to give this experience a 2 star. However, this will not stop me from giving them another chance. Hopefully the next time, we won’t have to wait so long for our food.

I have visited here many times in the past month. The Country Chicken is really good and the Panther Burger was perfect. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I will be back.

G-Pa’s just opened this week so I resolved to visit them before they got popular. However, it was to no avail. When I arrived with my friend for lunch there were only a couple tables left, which I hoped would be a good sign.
Thankfully it was! Even though they were busy, the service was still good. Our waitress was helpful and polite the entire time and she was on the ball making sure we had everything we needed. The food was also wonderful. The entrees and sides were obviously fresh and it was evident in the taste. The apple crisp and ice cream was the best dessert I have had in a while. Plus, it went splendidly with the coffee I ordered, which surpassed other restaurant coffees I have tried.
Needless to say, I will definitely be returning and plan on trying the breakfast menu too as it looked equally appetizing.
