Came here because Harrisburg does not have many legit bagel places. Sadly this place was a disappointment. Firstly the cashier was very rude. He was frustrated that I paid with a card because he had to enter it in by hand. Then he didn’t hand me the free cookie for a child or place it on the counter. He rudely put it down in a slamming way. My girlfriend ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream and it did not come with whipped cream. I think even if the bagels blew me away(which they did not) I still wouldn’t have come back because of the cashier. The other 2 workers seemed nice but the one I had to deal with was quite rude.

Im from jersey… bagel shops are on every corner… you cannot get a bad bagel. Bacon, egg and cheese is the simplest thing to make and it should taste the same everytime. They dont have a griddle here so everything they have to cook is microwaved. You would think microwaving would speed up the process of cooking but you would be wrong. It takes forever to get your food, no matter how many people are in line, you wait. I cant recall a time when I have had great customer service at any of the bagel lovers locations. If you are looking for a bagel with cream cheese and a coffee… they can do this. You will have to wait approx five minutes to get your order, but it will be okay. Except the bagel will not really taste very good, kind of like they buy their bagels from a grocery store instead of making them in house. I think I need to go into the bagel shop business in harrisburg, because there is no competition. Does anyone want to go in on this with me?

Worst bagel place I’ve ever been to. Bagels are cold and clearly from a package. Coffee was terrible

We went twice during our time in Harrisburg. The first time was a weekday and it was a quiet steady stream of people coming in. I had a jalapeño bagel with ham egg and cheese. It was just what I expected, nothing more or less. The next day was a Saturday and there were a lot of people in the café. This time I had a turkey sandwich on jalapeño bagel and it was delicious and quite a deal at $ 4.99. The staff was friendly both times. The strip mall location and minimal dining area aren’t big pluses for this business but it gets the job done.

Great bagels for this area. Originally a New Yorker, I’m bagel partial. First went last spring to meet my friends for lunch. Great options. Recently went on a day a rare day off and picked up come fresh coffee and bagels. As well as a hot pastrami and provolone bagel sandwich for DH. Everything was devoured. You have yourselves two devoted customers! Thanks Bagel Lovers!

I’ve been a fan of Bagel Lover’s unfortunately today was an utter disappointment in customer service. There were numerous people inside eating, but they were closed to the public. They finally opened(0810 hrs) after a gentleman left and I inquired if they were open. Once inside my 8 y/o son and I greeted the older woman who appeared to be bothered that we wanted to place a simple order of bagels. The biggest disappointment was they have always offered my son a cookie but there was no offer and the woman appeared to just wallow in the misery of work.
I guess I’ve been accustomed to excellent friendly service in the past. I hope this was a one time event. If not, I think Bagel Lovers and I will have a Bagel Divorce.

Bagel lovers is a great place to grab lunch in a hurry. I ordered the chicken salad bagel-wich on a plain bagel. It was fresh and full of flavor. But a little messy. If a bagel sandwich isn’t your thing they do also have plenty other menu items to choose from. I ordered a regular grilled chicken salad once. Nothing special, just your traditional salad. Lettuce, veggies and your choice of dressing. The salads do come with your choice of bagel. I ordered the blueberry to bring home later for my son. If you want breakfast they have that too. I’ve never been to Bagel Lovers in the morning but I’ve heard good things from a few of my co-workers. The location is not the greatest. If you’re not looking for it you’ll likely pass it. Its tucked on the back side of the brandy wine plaza.

Delicious bagels!!! On my first trip, I had the lox and cream cheese on an everything bagel. It was heavenly! The best I’ve ever had! The bagel was perfectly chewy and fresh. I enjoyed the bagel so much that I had to go back before leaving. On my second visit, I had a blueberry bagel that tasted so fresh and blueberry! They have an amazing number of different bagel choices from strawberry to cheddar to jalapeño! I can only dream of having a bagel this good now that I’m back home in South Carolina! Hope to return soon!

Staff was friendly and the place was clean and bright, so that was great! I wasn’t impressed with the breakfast sandwich though. It was an everything bagel with sausage egg and cheese. The bagel itself had a good consistency, but there was very little everything seasoning on it(almost no roast garlic pieces, etc), the cheese was cold, and the sausage and egg were very bland. But still, I didn’t try anything else on the large menu, so I wouldn’t ignore the other reviews which are 4 – 5 stars. Different menu items might be really great(the coffee, other bagel flavors, etc). So the place is still probably worth a shot!

I love bagels. Whenever I get sad/overly happy/drink I want a bagel. I love them oh so much and really was excited when I found out this was really nearby where I was moving to. I’ve eaten here twice and first time I got an onion bagel with lite cream cheese. The cream cheese was fresh, fluffy, and tasty. Perfect. The onion bagel had a ton of flavor inside and was soft yet tough, like a bagel should be. The flavor was amazing. My husband got an omelette bagel — which was amazingly flavorful. The scallion cream cheese had real bits of scallion in it(not dried or anything) and was a great mix with the omelette bagel. Our second visit, he got the onion bagel with cream cheese(as good as mine the day before) and I got a french toast bagel with strawberry cream cheese — which was sweet and delicious. I basically plan on eating here once a week, or buying a bunch of bagels and taking them home. It’s really great. It may be in a really weird spot though. It is kind of hidden, but it is near a lot of churches so I imagine if you go to church at one of the like 5 churches around it you would want to stop by.

Very good bagels for this area. Love the weekend morning visits and egg&cheese on a freshly baked bagel mmmm! A great spot, a little hidden if you don’t know where it is. If they had a more prominent location, this places business should be going gang busters!
