The food is average but at an excellent price. What a wonderful place to stop on a bike ride. Or for any reason that you’re on City Island actually

Over the weekend, I headed over to City Island to try this new stand. City Island is not necessarily where I would go specifically to eat, but I’ve changed my mind. My understanding is that this stand is courtesy of the folks at Mangia Qui. I was drawn because of their name as well as the fact that there’s a dearth of good barbeque in the greater Harrisburg area. There are basically two protein options and two potato options. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the sweet potato fries. To drink, I ordered a sweet tea. I felt the sandwich was well worth the $ 5.00. There was a good amount of pork on the sandwich and a decent amount of sauce(but it would have been nice to have a little extra sauce available on the side). The fries were frozen, but were cooked well and were served crispy. I would stay away from the sweet tea. There was way too much lemon in it. Definitely a nice addition to City Island.
