I used to live in North Carolina and visit Harris Teeter on occasion. How did I not know that they carried dry ice?! Is this a thing? Is there much demand for it? OK. I needed dry ice to package up some cupcakes that I had just purchased. There was a small wait at customer service. They were trying to find something for a customer. The dry ice was very near by and the customer service employee was fairly good at estimating how much I needed. Knocked down one star due to the state of the bathroom. Needed some major attention. An employee actually made it known to the customer service desk.

Still new, store is clean and well stocked. Service continues to be an issue, particularly in prepared foods. The counter workers seem to be confused not only about procedures but seemly about the products they serve.

This is BYFAR the groceryist grocery store I’ve ever been in. You just walk in and you’re like«son of a gun, I’m in a grocery store right now! Wooooooooooooooo!!!»

We just tried their sandwiches and they’re comparable to our favorite at Publix. Their bread selection isn’t as good however. There’s a salad bar, Asian food bar, and a pizza station. This location is clean and there are always enough registers open. The parking lot is roomy and we appreciate that it’s open 24 hours. It stays open during Easter. For those who don’t know, they always double coupons under 99C. Super Double weeks double up to $ 2 coupons.

Best store around, friendly staff, clean store and great variety. Staff is always helpful and I get to save 3 cent per gallon on my gas.

Originally I had given this HT5 stars, but after 2 awful incidences they are going down to 1. 1. I(mom) had ordered a cake for my son’s birthday. My husband had gone to pick up the cake(dad). He had no idea what I ordered but just picked it up for me. When he brought home the cake I had noticed they did not write Happy Birthday with my sons name on it. when I called they immediately started to blame me for not telling the lady what to write, or to write anything at all. I calmly explained that I did, and I distinctly remembered as she asked me how to spell his name. He offered a refund, but I was just irritated that I would be to blame and why didn’t my husband say something. 2. Today I was standing in line with just a few items. A cashier came up to me and said she could help me on another aisle. I started to walk over when another customer who didn’t realize I was coming walked ahead of me to have his cart rung up. I thought she would tell this customer that I was actually next since she asked me to come over. But NOPE! She started ringing him up, even looked me in the eye and ignored me. I even said«seriously?», she looked up at me and shrugged her shoulders and continued on with the other customer. Would have been pretty easy to explain to the other customer that I was actually next, especially cause I only had a few items. Guess that will be the last time I shop there!

So I’m checking out with the cashier and this random employee is poking around, grabbing things out my cart, rearranging items really just getting in the way of both the cashier and bagger. I was mildly annoyed but figured if he didn’t bother them then I should leave it be. Glad I did cause turns out he noticed my daughter and I and decided to walk us out with an umbrella, to our car so we didn’t get completely soaked. Even loaded the groceries and took the cart when he was done. What exceptional customer service. So glad it’s just around the corner. I will be frequenting it often.

It’s not often I get to patronize a brand new supermarket. Usually they have been in the neighborhood for some time. I was pleasantly surprised with how much nicer this HT is compared to the others further down University City Blvd and the surrounding area. Very modernized, the deli area is much larger than normal. I saw many items here than I’ve ever seen at other Teeter stores. There are two hot food buffets in addition to the fresh pizza area. Almost every checkout lane is staffed, but that may change over time. Hopefully everything else stays the same.
