Not much of a 5 o’clock crowd. Not a bad selection of drinks. Food is just okay. In all, it’s just not a place to rave about. Maybe in the winter when you can sit inside and enjoy the greenery.

In town for a few days… not sure what they pay Jen but it’s not enough! Witnessed two nights of jam packed and she is all by herself working. Waits the tables, serves the food, and never leaves an empty glass on the bar. Very impressed, will definitely stop back. Oh yea, food is great. Recommend the crab nachos.

I was«kicked» out trying to use the restroom because I tripped over the entry way. Then was told I had to wait on the street for a cab… If I were to drink here the prices are way to high to even to compare to bourbon st

Either management tells staff to short pour or the bartenders need training. I watched for an hour. Mixed drinks– .75 oz. on the rocks– 1 oz.

Lame, pretentious, and the draft beer tastes like stale dish water. Not even good enough for a one and done. Too many other better options downtown.

12/02/2015-I just tried the newly renovated Mulligan’s for lunch. The place is beautiful. The front is a sports bar, with at least 4 large screens. The back is amazing. It looks like outdoors in a well taken care of neighborhood. There are live plants and trees, doors, and even mailboxes next to the house numbered doors. The tables and chairs are outside furniture, but comfortable. I am a larger sized person and I often find that restaurants seats with arms are a tight fit, not so here and they had cushions. Soft lighting was strung across the ceiling. There are waterfalls in the back that were really a nice touch. The background music was great, good 70’s music(Eagles, Styx, Fleetwood Mac, etc.) that was loud enough to enjoy, but not so loud that you couldn’t carry on a conversation. My server(Jody) was quick, friendly, and polite. She kept my drink(soda) filled and was quick with my check(as I had to get back to work). My Panini was delicious and the fries were just slightly seasoned which is how I like them. Bonus for me, Mulligan’s is in the building where I work, so I didn’t have any parking issues and I did not have to go outside on this rainy day. The only downside that I found was that my Coke was on the weak side, not flat, just a little weak. I will definitely go back, and will tell my coworkers about this place.

I came in fairly late. They had a decent tap selection, with the REAL King of Beers — Big Gruesome Peanut Butter Chocolate Stout by Spring House Brewing Company. The music was good. Catchy but definitely a R&B/funk basis. Plenty of TVs and lots of sports!

Great bar downtown Harrisburg. Smoking was unfortunate, but great cocktail waitress service. Drinks all night!

Came here, paid for scotch, paid to shoot pool, was told we would have to pay for water too. No glasses — only bottles. Wtf?

I encountered the worst bartender I have ever come across at any establishment. My boyfriend went to the bar and ordered a captain and diet for me, but what he brought back tasted nothing like a captain and diet. I assumed the bartender misheard him(it was loud that night b/c of the music) and had mixed it with regular coke instead. I went up to the 1st bartender I saw and politely explained that I think they put regular coke in by mistake and asked if I couId please have a new drink made with diet. The bartender proceeds to tell me that she needs to know who made the drink because they just can’t go around and make new drinks for everyone. So I had to flag down my boyfriend and ask him who made it. Turns out it was her. She was adamant that she made exactly what he asked for. She ends up giving me a sample of the diet coke. It was flat and tasted terrible. I tell her the soda is flat and she responds by shrugging her shoulders and saying«Well there’s nothing I can do about that.» She does offer to get me something else. I opted for a cranberry and vodka. I watch her make it and it was literally a glass full of cranberry juice with a splash of vodka. I took a sip, set on the bar, and tried to walk away. She flags me down and yells across the bar«You don’t want it?!» I went back over and told her I watched her make it and saw all she put in it was a splash of vodka. She explains that the special that night is $ 2.50 mixed drinks but they only have half a shot. Um, what? Why don’t you just charge me $ 5 for a regular drink? If I wanted to pay $ 2.50 for cranberry juice, I’d go to 7 – 11!

Let’s see here. 1) you can smoke inside 2) they never fill your pint glass to the top. Notice that next time. Check your pint, it’s about an inch short of a fully. 3) they charge for water Not trying to sound bougie, but if a bar in Philly did this, it’d be game over in a week.

Just went to Mulligans for a classic burger with bacon and an order of 10 wings. Food was very good, especially the burger. Unlike others who have posted here, I requested a cup of ice water and had no problems getting it. I come to Harrisburg for business several times a year and always drop by Mulligan’s(I also patronized the establishments that were at this location previously as they kept changing). I miss Mulligan’s Guinness Beef Stew and their Big Pub Steak that I got for under $ 20. They are no longer on the menu. Lots of TV screens so it is easy to find something you like. Overall my experiences here have been good.

I was going to give Mulligan’s 3 stars because I had fun but then I remembered how weak the Ketel and sodas were. Also, some guy came and took our chairs around 10 because they don’t allow chairs at the bar once the DJ sets up(or something like that). Other than that, it was a decent dive bar. There’s one big screen tv and lots of small ones all around the bar so odds are you’ll find something to watch. The jukebox has a good selection of music and all of my songs played immediately. Also, there was a man sitting a few stools down that played a bunch of Nelly songs on the jukebox. Not sure how everyone else felt about that but I loved it! Took me right back to high school! I guess there’s dancing later on at night since by the time we left around 11 the place was getting packed and there were bouncers patting people down at the door.

Went to watch a Pens playoff game when I was in town for a conference. The good news, the Pens game was on a big screen tv. We sat at the bar and held court. The food was average… we had grease burgers and fries. Service was terrible. The bar wasn’t busy, we’re sitting at the bar, but had to ask for our food. It had the feel of a college bar, and an acknowledgment my college yeas are looooooooong over, they decided to play music in the middle of the second period. I couldn’t get over just how loud it was. I’d probably check elsewhere before I go here again.

Ordered 10 beers for myself and colleagues while we shot a few games of pool following a conference at the nearby Hilton. I went to close our tab and asked for a glass of water. I was told«that the owners only let us sell bottled water and that I couldn’t have a glass.» Now I am faced with a choice, take it out on the bartenders tip or take it out on the owners on Unilocal.I support service industry folks and think it is outrageous that your ownership puts you in this position. SERVEME A GLASSOFWATER!!! I JUSTDROPPED $ 60BUCKS!!! Idiots. That $.05 you saved just cost you customers because of this review.

My girlfriend and I walked outside the Hilton in downtown Harrisburg in search of a place to grab a drink one night on a friend’s wedding weekend. Mulligan’s is right next door and looked OK so we went inside, bought drinks, then sat down outside. The inside is huge with a couple of pool tables and a gigantic bar, lots of floor space. Wait service was very speedy and attentive, but they don’t do a great job separating the tables from the sidewalk. For example, as we were sitting there enjoying ourselves, an «entrepreneur» walked right up to us from the street trying to sell roses. Luckily for everyone involved, I actually wanted a rose and purchased one from that industrial fellow. but at any other time it would have been quite invasive! My girlfriend was pleased. :)

I’d give a half star if possible, terrible service, flies all around while we were trying to choke down the«food» we ordered. No need to give this one another try!

Perfect place to get some wings when staying at the Hilton. Cheap beer on draft, good food, music was a little loud, but all in all a good bar. All the food that was recommended to us was great, and there were TVs everywhere to watch any game you wanted. Great service, ask for Merlot(the waitress).
