I’ve only had the hoagies(er, subs) from here as we occasionally have them delivered to my work for lunch. But they have always been good. The bread tastes homemade, which is a huge plus as I’m used to Philly style hoagies made on fresh baked amoroso rolls. The sandwiches are also huge, so you can easily get two lunches out of a $ 6ish dollar hoagie. Good deal. So far, I’ve tried the tuna salad, eggplant parm, and breaded fish options. The eggplant was my least favorite only because they left the skin on, which I’m not a fan of, but I still enjoyed it because their marinara sauce was really good. The breaded fish is my favorite. Highly recommend for a filling, flavorful lunch.

Lived in the area for years but just decided to give this place a try. My husband got pizza and I got a sub. Both were ok. Not good but not terrible. I didn’t like the oil mixture they put on the sub and my husband said the pizza tasted like it sat out all day. So needless to say been there tried it probably won’t go back.

First ever one star review. Why? I didn’t get any food. After reading other Unilocalers’ reviews, I was pretty excited to give this place a try. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t deliver to my house. I’m only 3 miles from the shop, but apparently they were short handed. Either way, pretty disappointing experience.

I’m very picky about my cheese steaks. I’ve lived here for two years and couldn’t find one I liked. But this place is awesome! The homemade rolls, the attention to detail and the friendly service has won me over. No matter what I order, they have impressed me. Until I leave the area, this is the ONLY place I will order a sub from.

Pretty good food, the other one in penbrook doesn’t make the Buffalo chicken fries. But it was fast and a litte expensive, i asked for extra cheese and they gave me cheese sauce instead of mozzarella cheese… so make sure you are specific. But overall the food was alright.

Just OK pizza. 16″ pizza was not full size. Undercooked soft crust. Dirty bathroom. Uninviting dining area. No decent beverage selection and they charge $.75 for a cup of water.

I thought Christopher’s pizza on other side of town was good, this place blows it away! NY style pizza with crispy edges, fold in half capable, thin like, etc… Not in the best area. Women and families beware. If you want to brave this place, going during dat hours but worth trying. My suggestion, use their delivery service– have them come to you.

Italian Pizza sub is awesome here! Pizza criust stuffed with Italian meat, veggies and cheese… heated…not soggy inside. crust is garlicky and crisp… yum!

Try the stromboli. You won’t be disappointed! Wanted to update that my hubby and I still love this place and will continue to recommend it to anyone who will listen. I don’t eat pork. So I keep turkey pepperoni in our house for pizzas, salads, etc. On a whim, I took a package of turkey pepperoni over to Roberto’s and asked if they could make me a turkey pepperoni stromboli. I totally expected them to turn me down, but they totally did it! This is one happy customer! It was delicious!!!

Great place to eat. Awesome Pizza, shells and cheese, and Salads are very fresh! Plus they have Hershey’s Dairy chocolate milk, My daughter’s favorite. We love getting Pizza from Uncle Bill. :)
