if you are at this place, that means you are at a hospital which could be a good thing or a bad thing. but that does not mean you have to skip on meals. This is a nice place on the 11th floor of the PinnacleHealth Hospital building in downtown Harrisburg for the hospital staff, patients and guests. The food is reasonably good but as it is in the hospital, the service is better than other places because patient focus and customer focus is always a priority for hospitals and it shows in the staff working the food as well. As it is a hospital café, its a given that the kitchen and other sanitary conditions are better than most places for the sake of patient care itself so you can rest assured health focus is a priority here. The food itself is not amazing and not bad, it is merely good. The menu changes daily and there are occasions where certain dishes are amazing while there are also rare cases where certain dishes are not that good. There are 6 sections to this place. The first section is where you get all the grilled and fried foods like french fries, chicken tenders and other grilled foods which are reasonably good and reasonably priced. The second section is food that is made on location and put in serving dishes for you to get on your plate. this is the place where you can get pizza, pasta and other dishes which are more elaborate than fried or grilled foods. The third section is where you get the soup and salad section. the variety is not huge but it is reasonable for a good salad dish along with the choice of soup which is not always that great so I would avoid that. the fourth section is the coffee and drinks area where you can get machine cappucinos, coffees and other fountain soda dishes. the fifth section is where you get a pre-made pretzel warmed up or make your own bread based dishes. There are a variety of bread options and a limited option of what you can put on the bread. The cheese variety is not that great so that is something that would have to be improved. The sixth section is the prepackaged area where food items are made, wrapped in plastic and put there to be sold, sort of like a quick grab and go place for those who want to pick up a quick sandwich and bottle of soda and go. All these sections also cater to breakfast related items as well which are good in terms of flavor but not very good. Its hospital food! you get what you get but its better than most hospital food.
