Had been to Rubicon a number of times as well as Mangia Qui and had no idea Suba was upstairs. Well what a treat, what a night. Only one table left when we arrived which was at the top of the stairs — for us(party of three) it turned out to be the best seats in the house… close to the kitchen, the bar and the restrooms and far enough back from the small area used by the three piece band that played a great lineup of modern jazz and an enjoyable level(you could still talk easily to each other at the table). Food menu and quality was excellent albeit a little pricey however parking can be a little tricky if you’re expecting to find a spot in the street. We found plenty of parking no more than a minutes walk from the front door of the restuarant. I will go back as I’m keen to see whether this was a stroke of good luck or there is a deliberate level of consistency being achieved by a good business model.

I really wanted to love this place– I did. We picked it for our annual sisters dinner because this place used to be fantastic. We were so underwhelmed by the food, but more so the service. This I why: 1) two of the dishes were misrepresented from what listed on the menu 2) the Spanish meat dish(which was listed to come with a baguette and sun dried tomato marmalade) came with neither. It was served with toll house pita crackers. 3) the flaming cheese dish — was poorly executed. The 151 didn’t burn off and just sat there while the cheese congealed. We didn’t even touch it. 4) Our waters were only refilled once. 5) we asked if the items that served three could come out in 4 and be charged as necessary so that it was shareable for our table– quickly denied. 6) the«pan fried» lamp pops were deep fried. Like DEEP fried. 7) the octopus was cooked well, but saturated in paprika. It was all you could taste. The calamari, quesadilla, dates, and atun were good however. After all of that — the only thing we mentioned to the server was that we’d like the meal that was described incorrectly on the menu to be removed. The server rolled her eyes, and seemed exasperated as if we had done something wrong. We never received a response to our question but when the bill came — their solution? The took off three dollars, which is borderline offensive. Bad owner response and rude customer service pretty much ruined our night there. We requested they update their menu to accurately reflect what you get. The server said she’d ask the FOH manager(lame). Needless to say, we won’t be returning.

One of my favorite restaurants! The atmosphere is very chill and different for Harrisburg. There are certain favorites that are a must whenever we go. The sangria is amazing. I also love the fish tacos, the enchiladas and the flaming cheese!

The best fish tacos in Harrisburg… or anywhere honestly. I travel all over and theirs are most delicious I’ve ever had… all of their tacos are. So many other wonderful things to say about this place… always a great experience with the wait staff and bartenders, the drinks are SO delicious and always on point, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.

We love this place! Great atmosphere and the service is incredible. Very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Now, let’s start with the drinks. I had a Mojito that was the freshest and tastiest drink I’ve had in a long time. My wife had the Rockefeller, which is a martini with olive oil infused vodka. She is still talking about it two weeks later. I am also and only had a sip. It was silky smooth. We tried many different tappas and loved them all. We especially loved the fish tacos. You can’t go wrong when they are on the happy hour special. The hearts of palm are great as well. Get the table by the window and you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the Capitol.

Another great meal at SUBA. The fish tacos are truly the best I have ever had. Bacon wrapped dates — you must try them and the place another order. And what a deal if you go for happy hour! Service great and atmosphere fun!

1. a restaurant that is eclectic should at least be able to accept opentable reservations. 2. parking is a bit tricky 3. table placement provided a perfect view of trash cans out on the street 4. menu was supposed to more tappas related but with menu items named taco 47 which wasn’t good 5. cheese and meat plate was looking a good layering and presentation 6. left the restaurant after the appetizer and walked down the street for better quality food and ambiance

Great atmosphere, good food, excellent drink concoctions. Very poor service. Sat around waiting for drinks while bartender chatted up some other guests. So disappointing, had great expectations for this place. Will not go back.

Wonderful ambiance, food and drinks! Perfect for date night. Only down side is that they do not take reservations.
