The wings and pierogies were great. We stopped in from a suggestion of a local and we were thankful to see him. The PABBQ(Middlewurth chips dust) was good on the pierogies and all the wing sauce flavors we tried were hits.

New management could possibly save this business. It’s not only me just check the other reviews they are all the same with no signs of improvement. As a long time patron I have given this place several chances but I’m done!

We drove up from Florida to pick up an RV and stopped at Teds grill. Great decision. The wings are great, I suggest the dry rub with some dipping sauce. The Philly is also very good. Staff is friendly and plenty of craft beers. 16 beers on tap and specials everyday. It maybe a local spot that everyone knows your name, but for those passing through this beautiful part of the country, you have to make the stop.

VERY slow lunch service here. Came with two coworkers on a Thursday afternoon and due to being on our lunch break, we ordered food and asked for the check at the same time. Two of the three of us requested the Maryland Crab soup as part of our orders and in spite of telling the waitress that she could bring those out as soon as they were done, all the food came out together. This was only after we asked for it, after approximately 40 minutes. The food is quite tasty, and the menu is extensive, but if you’re on a limited time schedule, consider elsewhere. The perks of this location are the spacious bar area, multiple televisions for sports-viewing, and a separate dining area.

To inconsistent to recommend! We stopped for lunch after coming back from philly. I ordered wings(which I never got) pierogies, and a filet sandwich. The pierogies were hard and dried out as if they had been precooked and then reheated, the filet sandwiches bun was soggy and the filet tasted as though it had been cooked on a dirty grill as did my daughter’s chicken in her wrap and the service was just awful. Our friend didn’t get her soup when we got or pierogies. The waitress never even asked if everything was ok. Darn shame to as we are good tippers since we have both worked extensively in the service industry. Our check was not itemized it just had a total on it and to top it off when I went to reheat my filet later that evening there was a hair going all through the steak, mushrooms and onions. It wasn’t ours as it was long, straight and blond. I have had some fair meals there and some good meals but overall it is not worth going back due to the lack of consistency. I have a three strikes your out rule. They have been ruled out. What a shame…

Heard great things about the wings, but we tried 3 styles the other night and none of them were very good. Way overcooked and dried out, messy, but nothing special for flavor. Little pizza shops typically do better. This was a second trip. Burger and fish sandwich on an earlier trip for lunch that were both pretty bad.

Seating was quick. No issues there. When we sat we were greeted by our waitress. Unfortunately she was not up to speed on the wine list and had to go check. We ordered our food and it came out relatively fast. My wings were mediocre. Their claim of best wings in the area was dead wrong IMO. The one dry rub order I got had rub on one side of the wings and none on the other. Terrible. I also ordered the Reuben. The bottom piece of bread was soaked through with grease. Couldn’t even eat it. My fiancée’s spaghetti was horribly watered down. Our waitress I think could tell the food was bad and was very apologetic. Kinda felt bad for her. The prior reviews of bad service were absolutely not experience by us tonite. We won’t be back. It’s a shame too based off the reputation we have heard of.

I’m so sad. Since the move to the new location I feel the service has gone downhill. We’ve been there maybe 6 or 7 times since and every time has been horribly slow. The last two times we have had the same server so I’m sensing a pattern with her maybe. Last night we waited an hour and a half for our food. She forgot drinks. She mixed up our checks and then tried to blame the kitchen. I’ve been a server. It’s very clear when the kitchen is the issue. So I’m sad because I love the food and I miss the love of the old place. I think we just need a break. Please get better!

The new establishment is in great location however the décor is in the 70’s. Wings and sauces are good, their soups are very good. Overall nice place to go and hang out.

I get it. Someone calls in, asks if he can get a seat since it’s Derby day and you say it’s fine. You don’t want to send me somewhere else. But when I get there 10 minutes later and there is not one seat at the bar and seemingly not one st the tables around the bar, then I will leave, and won’t come back anytime soon.

Absolutely horrible and a waste. You move your restaurant to a new building but your Wings have progressively have gone down hill. Very disappointed with this visit. Waitress was lost and never checked on our food or how we were doing. I pity anyone who spends their hard earned money on food in this establishment. Unfortunately Ted’s doesn’t have the best Wings in town they have the worst. Please have your Waitress change the Shirts they are wearing because it is a false statement. Two trips in one, «First and last»!

Was excited to try their new location after visiting their old location several times and loving it. They have gone downhill… Wings are about par and their service was horrendous. The server did not get to us until we were seated for about 10 – 15 minutes(only about ¼−½ capacity). Then proceeded to continue this«all-star» service throughout the meal. Synopsis — There are other places to get wings and we will be going to those other places from now on. It’s unfortunate that a new location, better building, more space couldn’t be matched by great employees.

It’s been a few days since we visited Ted’s Bar & Grill because I like to let my experiences at new establishments marinate for a period of time before coming to a conclusion on them. I find that it gives me the chance to more genuinely evaluate the good, and the bad. That said, I was sincerely surprised by Ted’s. Food: We ordered a little bit of variety since this was our first experience at Ted’s. We started with the ‘Duck Poppers’, then the French Onion Soup, then 6 Pirogues(w/bang-bang sauce), then 12 medium wings Duck Poppers: Quite possibly one of the most delightful things I have tried in recent memory. I don’t eat duck often, and this was such a unique dish that I had to give it a shot. Stuffed with a jalapeño ring and some mild bleu cheese, then topped with a positively delicious sauce. These gave me and my wife a flavor-experience like none-other. Unfortunately, one of the first two came out raw. Not rare. Legitimately raw. We sent it back and they replaced the one with two more. 4⁄5(5 — 1 for raw) French Onion Soup: Delicious. Not the best I have had, but it certainly hit the spot. A very well developed broth topped with melty provolone. For me, I am a fan of gruyère. I feel like the nuttiness from the gruyère is an integral part. Despite that though, the soup was extremely good. 4⁄5 Pirogues: Another unique dish in which they specialize. They were also DELICIOUS! The exterior was light and crisp, while the interior was creamy and smooth with excellent flavor. We requested the bang-bang sauce on the side; but unfortunately, they came slathered in it. Very disappointing. Despite that, it did taste good — though, I still would have preferred it on the side 4⁄5(5 – 1 for lack of execution) Wings: The wings are *officially* the best I have had in this region. Crispy on the outside, yet still moist and tender on the inside. They were fried in *clean* oil — or at least oil that had not been overused. Lastly, they paired perfectly with their bleu cheese dressing. Oh, I almost forgot, their medium sauce — the best I have had in a very long time. Not really all that spicy for a medium, but the flavor was spot-on. Almost a perfect medium sauce. 5⁄5 Food: 4⁄5 Service: This was a major disappointment, and a major success. The hostess was one of the most delightful, genuinely nice ladies I have ever met in my life. It was a particularly busy night, and so me, my wife, and daughter had a 30 minute wait. She checked on us more than once, and finally sat us. At that point, I would have considered her service above and beyond; but it went further. While we were waiting, I asked her about several of the menu items, and for her recommendations. She knowledgeably offered her opinion(rare for a ‘greeter’ /hostess). Then, midway through our meal, she came and asked us how everything was to see if her suggestions were good. Totally unexpected, and really appreciated. In terms of the other aspects of service… it was a bit of a disappointment. Our server was very busy given the volume of patrons, and she just looked and acted tired. Large gaps in between the time we saw her led to an unfortunate gap between the time we discovered the raw duck, and us being able to alert her. Then, the sauce for the pirogues was not on the side. Major misses by both the server and kitchen on this trip. Service: 3⁄5(5 for hostess, 3 for server, 2 for kitchen) Atmosphere: Unique. Half of the restaurant is a sit down spot with very comfortable booths and a family-friendly atmosphere. The other half of the restaurant is a jet-black bar-area with a warehouse feel and concrete floors. It has a rough-and-tumble sort of feel to it, which was cool. The TVs were plentiful. Atmosphere: 4⁄5 Price: With tip and everything our meal cost about $ 35. That is very fair given all the things we ordered. Honestly, we over-ordered because we wanted to try so much. My family could easily get in and out for $ 25 or less. That is a great value, for very good quality food. Price: 5⁄5 Final Thoughts: ‘Lack of execution’ sums up most of the service experience — which is almost forgivable given how busy they were. Despite the misses on service(namely, still charging us for the duck poppers when given the circumstances), the food was outstanding — and would have been even better if not for the mistakes. I will definitely be back, and strongly recommend this restaurant for some very high quality food, for a more-than-fair price

«New» Teds. I never went to the old one because because of how terrible their parking situation was. I tried 3 different times, but just gave up and got wings somewhere else. Now that the new Ted’s is open, and the craziness has died down a little, we decided to give it a try. Parking situation is still terrible. There is more parking, yes, but not designed well. There is no loading/unloading area, so when the truck delivery comes, the tractor trailer blocks the entire entry/exit, making it very dangerous. I could not see around the truck, or the cars coming towards me. Inside… eh… Really bright, is what comes to mind. There is no aesthetics to the building. Just a huge room with an industrial feel, but not decorated that way. You will have to see it yourself I guess. The older woman hostess. OMG is she RUDE!!! Do you want us to eat here or not lady? She kept asking us how many there were. We responded 3, probably 5 times. She didnt know where to sit us, kept complaining about a funeral party that just came in. Finally she asked if we wanted table 19. How the hell do we know the table numbers? We dont work here! Server was very nice but VERY slow. There were two younger servers just sort of hanging out and talking, ignoring how swamped this place was, and our server was stuck with all the work. I felt bad for her. A lot of people were leaving their tables and walking up to the bar trying to order beers. The 3 of us would have spent more money on beer but it took soooooooo looooooong to get refills. Forget it. Now, the saddest part… the food. Here is what we ordered and a description… 3 different flavors of wings. They boast to be the best. It’s on their permanent sign. NOT the best. Edible, at best. Blue cheese had that yellowed look and was warm. Wings were small. Not tiny, but not medium or large. Small. Duck bites. $ 10 appetizer that came out to be TWO teeny pieces of duck wrapped in bacon. I actually laughed out loud when they came out. Our server was embarassed for us and remarked. Not edible. Duck was VERY dry and couldnt really chew it. Pierogies. Since they boast about their pierogies, I actually thought they might be «homemade». Nope. Mrs. T’s. 6 pierogies for almost $ 10! Chicken Gyro — No lettuce, tomato or onions in it. Just chicken and tzaziki sauce. Came with chips. Tasteless. Fish & Chips. This was the worst by far. I felt so bad for my husband. The fish pieces were SOSMALL and sooooo dark from the fry oil. VERY greasy. He didnt eat them all, and that says A LOT! Because he doesnt waste food. Also, when you order fish & chips, you get CHIPS. Not fries. RIDICULOUS! So there it is. I’m actually pissed I spend $ 97 there. Service was ok, but the woman running the show was SO rude, and the food was SO terrible. It sucks too because there arent a lot of wing joints near us, and I had high hopes to call this place my new hangout.

I was really anticipating great food as the parking lot is always packed, but the food was just okay. The burger was too charred for my taste and they forgot a topping. This is the type of place to go for a few drinks, live music on the weekends, or wing nights. Nothing to brag about or complain about with service or atmosphere. Maybe my expectations were too high but it was just okay.

My family & I decided to try the new Ted’s location on 22. I have not been to the previous one, however I have been to the Midtown location a few times. I met my family members there, as we live in two different towns. We found the parking spaces to be extremely small, making the entire lot very tight. It was a Saturday evening, so we expected it to be pretty full & would have to wait. However, we were a little confused when we walked in, as there was a hostess station inside the door, but we actually needed to go down a small hallway to the left to speak with another hostess station. We were told about 15 minutes, which was fine. While waiting for our table, it appeared that the hostess stand was a little disorganized/confused. It may have been change of shift, as some were grabbing coats from behind & saying goodbye to other staff, but it seemed that a lot of chit chat was taking place, rather than trying to determine the seating of the waiting customers. The ambiance seemed a little dull. We were seated in one of the side rooms, which reminded me of a temporary banquet hall. The tables were extremely close together & it was busy, which made it worse. The chairs had rounded backs, so it was a little difficult to hang winter coats without them sliding off & forget about trying to hang your purses ladies. I don’t know about anyone else, but I don’t like to sit my purse on the floor in any restaurant or bar. So there I sit, squeezed next to the wall with another group of customers right behind me, holding my purse on one leg of my lap, my napkin on the other, all while trying to enjoy the soup & meal that I ordered. I wish I could have 2 separate ratings, one for atmosphere/service & another for food, because the food was delicious. After looking at the menu online prior to arriving, it looked like it only consisted of bar food. I was pleasantly surprised that there were multiple entrees & pastas available. The only confusing thing about the menu entrees were the sides. They listed that each came with 2 sides, however the sides listed on the menu only showed fries served multiple ways. Once the waitress came, we asked & she informed us that they had dinner sides, such as mashed potatoes & veggies. A suggestion would be to have these listed on the menu as dinner sides in the future, so you don’t have to wait to ask the waitress & then have a backup meal in mind if not interested. The decorating just isn’t what you would expect from a Bar & Grill atmosphere. It is a new place & maybe they are still working on finding the right pictures or memorabilia to hang on the walls. Hopefully they find something, because staring at blank beige walls with a couple TV’s hanging on them does not set a great environment to entice you to stay & have some dessert or extra drinks. Although, our waitress didn’t even ask or offer for us to look at a dessert menu, so I’m not even certain of what we would have stayed to enjoy. Overall, the food was delicious. Just hoping that they work some of the kinks out with staffing & ambiance. We will come back again to check on the progress!

We’ve been going to the old Teds for a long time and I don’t know if it’s just that I miss the old place or if this new place actually isn’t that great but our experience was pretty poor. The parking lot is really difficult to manage and tight. We waited for quite some time for a table(around 40 mins after being told around 20) and then even longer for a server. I mean it was super busy so I felt for the staff but that doesn’t make it a good experience for us because they’re busy. The ambiance is really a bummer. It’s cold and if you aren’t near the bar you’re in a super bright room with cafeteria lights, beige walls and no music. The saving grace for me is that the wings are still incredible so we’ll be back for takeout but dining in was a big bummer all around.

Lost my good rating as a repeat customer. Took my son in on a weekday afternoon. My steak, while ordered medium rare, came out totally uncooked as if it had gone from the freezer to grill. It was still semi frrozen. Okay, accidents happen… not a big deal. What upset me was the deception of their receipt or lack of telling me that they add on a built in gratuity(regardless of time of day for a party of two). Then there is also an added tip line to the bill as well. I looked at the amount and thought it seemed off and I nearly double tipped for what could have been a total of 32% of the bill. Feel deceived by this I will not go back again.

Went in with my girlfriend for a beer and some wings. The interior is small, and dimly lit, but it is not dirty. There is a bar area up front and table seating in back. The service was quick and we promptly ordered 27 of the hot wings and 2 lagers. The beer was clean and crisp. One of my biggest pet peeves is dirty tap lines. They clearly cleaned theirs. The wings were good. One thing I really like about the wings here is that they are nice and crispy, however the sauce distribution wasn’t very even, so some wings were super saucy, and some were dry. Rumor is that they are moving to a larger location soon.
