The service was very poor and their usually great food was subpar. I ordered a Guadalajara steak medium rare and it came to the table well done, almost burnt. The only thing the server would say was Gee… I’m sorry. It was very disappointing tonight. Strike one!

No frills, but tasty, Mexican food. You won’t see fancy garnishes or «free-range organic» labels on the menu. The interior isn’t chic and the décor is starting to sag a little but, that’s part of the experience. The dining room is on the small side but in the Summer the outdoor area is a nice alternative. Have been going to P&C for about 15 years and will happily continue.

There was a piece of glass in my food. I got carry out and there was glass in my food. Weird enough the cook knew which dish the glass was in. As in hey thought there could of been glass in your food but rather than look just served it to you and went on with my life. Don’t eat here if you have an aversion to glass.

Walked in this afternoon for a late lunch with friends. Been here once before and had a good experience with both service and food. Pathetic greeting at front of house and cold server. We had cocktails(bad margaritas) and asked for our check. Felt like an intrusion rather than a customer!

Could use a face lift but the food was good, different, but priced right. Waitress was pleasant. Will be back.

Great food, great service, and good prices. The tacos and burritos are amazing. Generous portions and if you’re feeling like a gringo try the burger. It is my top 3 in the area… char-grilled to perfection.

I love when people come into Harrison Township and expect fine dining(see other reviews). This is a small boating community that caters to the laid back boaters and fisherman lifestyle. P & C is pretty good for Michigan Mexican, the staff is great, the portions large, and the Coke is straight from the fountain — yum! It’s small and a «mom & pop» place — do don’t worry about wearing your flip flops in after a day of boating!

Pancho Cisco’s, with its small dining room, smaller bar, and festive outdoor seating, is a local treasure; a favorite among boaters and families. I’d give it a 5 if not that it needs to be updated!(Chili pepper curtains, 80’s banquet chairs) Yummy food, good chips, strong margaritas. Attentive service.

Yuck… thats all I can say!!! My friend and I went here for lunch, Im from the west side so I know nothing about restaurants on the side of town. my girlfriend does not really know Mexican food but she said that she would get a botana because she knows that I really like Mexican food so she agreed to go to a Mexican restaurant… We have been shopping all day and had nothing to eat so we were starving. I was actually shocked when I pulled up to the place it looks like a little hole in the wall but sometimes the hole in the walls have very good food, not the case here. first of all the chips were hard and very stale… The salsa tasted like somebody opened a can of tomatoes had a very tinny taste. I ordered a combination plate which had an enchilada a taco a tostada and tamale when she brought it the tamale had been opened up and they poured something on it that looks like and tasted like Hormel chili… I’ve never in my life gotten a tamale that had been opened up and something poured it on it… The tomatoes were cut so big that they wouldn’t stay on the very chewey taco… My friend got a botana it was pretty awful the meat was suspicious tasteing, to make a very long story short neither one of us ate our food and as we were leaving there were a couple of people coming in… I didn’t get it! Not to mention the dim lighting… to hide the dirt Im guessing. Waitress very nice… but wondering why she didn’t ask why we didnt eat our food… When she asked us if we wanted carry out containers we both said no at the same time, if I were her I would have questioned why we both had full plates. tipped her well though. Ps My step Dad is Mexican so I do know what the food should taste like, Taco Bell beats this joint hands down!!!

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. My husband and I shared the steak fajitas and taco salad and we had enough food for lunch the next day. Margaritas are yummy and salsa and chips are fresh! Great staff, bathrooms could be a little cleaner/nicer but it doesn’t prevent me from going there for dinner. 4 ½ stars! extra ½ for being kid friendly.

The chips were thick and bland, salsa also tasted like it was out of a can. The rice was not the best and tasted like a store bought brand. The chimichanga wasn’t too bad, and I actually enjoyed the guacamole that it came topped with. The food was meh, but I did have very friendly service. Three stars for the tasty guac and decent chimichanga.

Went here last night, despite the bad reviews I read on Google. The place was packed so I thought that would count for something. The chips and salsa were not good. The chips were thick and kind of stale tasting, obviously from a bag. The two salsas tasted like they came from a jar, one was pretty thick the other was all liquid. We asked for salsa verde which is my favorite most places, Ponco & Ciscos salsa verde looked like baby food, the texture was extremely odd like they pureed peas into it. The waitress was nice, but didn’t know what something was on the menu. I ordered enchiladas(one chicken, one beef, and one cheese) It looked like a sloppy mess, I think the chicken may have been canned dark meat or something. The beef was also strange. The beans were bland. And the rice tasted like it came from a bag, like those Lipton rice dishes. Overall, there was nothing special about the food, it was definitely not fresh tasting. I would have had a better meal at taco bell. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Go to Pacos instead.

I’ve been going to Panchos for a few years now and the food is very good. The dining area and bathrooms are blah, as others have stated but the food is tasty, the margaritas are great and the price is right.

Being new to Harrison Township, I asked one of my buddies where the good places to eat are. He said, «If you want Mexican food, you have to go to Poncho & Cisco’s.» It was a Friday night and the family didn’t feel like going out, so I decided to test the mettle of Poncho’s and order carry-out. It was incredible. I ordered the large nachos(LOADED with cheese and items), which were actually too much to eat in a sitting. The best thing about the nachos — the meat wasn’t greasy, and actually had flavor! My wife ordered a taco-combo dish and ate everything(which is a rarity for my wife and sad thing for me, because I’m usually offered what’s left). The salsa wasn’t something I’d write home about(it was more liquid than chunky), and the chips were a little too crunchy for my liking(I prefer lighter, crisper chips), but even my kids were impressed — including my picky 5-year old. They have an outdoor eating area that seems to fill up nicely when the weather is great, and the locals swarm there.

I stopped in for supper tonight. I ordered an item from the specials menu — Carne Bola Guisada. Man, that was an excellent selection! Plus, the portion was large, so now I have another meal waiting for me in the fridge. From their menu: Carne Bola Guisada — Steak tips sautéed with green pepper, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes in a robust sauce; served in a bread bowl topped with melted cheese; served with rice and beans. $ 13.25, and worth every penny. I completed my meal with a cherry empananda, a very nice finish! Yeah, the dining area is a bit cramped, but the food is great. I recommend!

To sum it up… not good. The chips are not authentic. The salsa was blah. I ordered a taco salad and ate only a few bites. It was very bland, very un-authentic. I honestly found myself wanting to get home and have a bowl of cereal. Oh, and there was a huge ant crawling on the wall next to my daughter as we were eating. Yuck.

Someone I know said«you gotta try this place it’s really good». I’m not going to end our friendship over this horrendous recommendation but I’m certainly going to ask him if he was joking or mad at me and trying to get even lol! Our food was bland. The seafood chimichanga was mushy seafood with what tasted like a packet of taco seasoning mixed in. My husband got the tinga taco and it was red sauce with very little chicken and a ton of huge pieces of green pepper and onion. It was also served in a large taco salad tortilla bowl surrounded by tortilla chips and soft tortillas as well. I mean it was a bit much and not in a good way. I want to like this place because I love a good mom and pop off the beaten path place. Sadly this trip let me down. I’m bummed! The strawberry margarita was the only part if my meal I consumed all of and enjoyed. If this place stepped it up just a notch they would have something going on. Blah humbug! No bueno!

I came here for the first time yesterday. I was pretty pleased. I did not like how cramped the dining area was though. I accidentally elbowed a waitress as she was trying to squeeze in between the chairs. The food was good though. I ordered the taco salad and I was pretty pleased with it. I thought the prices were reasonable too. The staff was attentive and friendly so I would probably come back here again.

I have been coming here for a number of years. I usually get a take out, but today I dined in. I was craving tacos. I couldnt remember if I liked their tacos since I normally get the falautas. They offered chicken or beef. I had 1 chicken and 2 beef. I wish I would have just had chicken. The chips seemed stale. The salsa did not taste like it was made fresh, I think they use jarred stuff. This is a no no for me. The pop was also bad. Was not«real» coke. Kind of flat and syrupy. My kids shared a grilled cheese which was only half a sandwich and partially burned. The bathroom is completely yucky. Cob webs under the toilet. One of those hand towel machines that has a big piece of fabric on rollers. I can’t tell you the last time I saw one of those. Gross outdated bathroom. The dinning room has not been updated since opening back in the 80s or 90s. I will only come here when desperate since it is close to my house. I hope they stop being cheap and figure out how to compete with neighboring restaurants.

Small restuarant, a little tacky for my taste. As for the food, chips and salsa, bought chips and salsa is watery. Large portion, but everything tasted the same to me. Margarita was okay and I thought the price was a bit high for one person,(beef borritos, w/beans and rice, two margaritas $ 20) Beef borritos made with ground beef. Authentic would be real beef and shreaded beef at the least. Over all an typical average Mexican restuarant… Don’t waste your money.
