Acorn Farms

DELISH. Small little bakery/​shop/​nursery on the side of the highway. They have fresh baked donuts and fresh pies using seasonal fruits, so you know it’s good. There’s also a small selection of cookies/​chocolates, knicknacks/​gifts, and some plants. Great place to grab a pie to bring to someone’s house (or your own if you don’t want to share… :))

Local farm that makes the best pies and fresh donuts in the area. Great selection of fantastic pies from apple, peach, very berry, blueberry, key lime, coconut and others I can’t even think of.
Freshly fried donuts as well.
Kind staff, they opened up 30mins early for me as I came early one day.

I was driving home and saw Acorn Farms, a little roadside shop between White Plains and Harrison. They sell a bit of everything, flowers, jams, and baked goods. The baked goods is what got me actually. They have a big old handpainted sign that says home made pies. How can you pass up home made pies?
Let me tell you, the pies are freaking amazing. They have strawberry rhubarb, apple, peach, and a bunch more. We bought a mixed berry version which we planned to serve guests this weekend. Unfortunately, less than 18 hours later, before a single guest passed through our door, we had finished the whole damn thing.
It was brilliant. Rich, buttery pie crust, a bit flaky, but not too much, with luscious home made pie innards. Just $ 13 bucks, sooo worth it.
I recommend this place to everyone, it’s an absolute local gem.
