I am local to them, operate a business out of Pottstown. Saw that they own the Pottstown Plaza– as a local Subcontractor who handles Renovations, As-Builds and Upgrades(Fire, Security, Electrical, Access and Cabling) along the East Coast, I reached out to see if they were looking for any subcontractors for work on properties as it comes down the pipeline. The receptionist was pleasant, I told her why I was calling and said I’d want to speak with Robert and sent me over to him. Spoke with Robert, who immediately upon answering was hostel, rude and began to harass me for calling him by his first name(whose first name ONLY was given to me from HIS receptionist). The call was strictly to introduce my company since were local and offer help if/when he needed it. Simply that! All he needed to say was he was all set on subs, instead he seemed to unleash a bunch of pent up anger. Robert being the owner of the company, handled himself extremely unprofessionally and I was shocked that such behavior could come from a business owner. I do a TON of networking and sit on two Board of Directors locally, and I will be SURE to share my story, relay my experience with their owner and deter any future business from them based on such.(had he given me the opportunity to actually speak instead of screaming at me, I had someone interested as a potential tenant). GOODONE ROBERT-Someone forgot their manners. PS-Maybe Robert is half of the reason why Pottstown Plaza is basically empty ;)
